  1. Nice quick review of a great little RDA. I bought one to replace the TOBH v2.5 clone that I managed to partially melt the insulator. I left it on a mechanical mod with a weak switch spring and forgot to lock the switch, so it auto-fired. It still works fine with no leaking, just a slightly deformed insulator but it was time to try something new.

The CLT Mini V3 was a great replacement. It's about the same size, but has better airflow, a (very) slightly deeper drip well, and much larger post holes. I tend to stick with 24 gauge wire, but there was more than enough room for a 22 gauge dual coil or a 24/30 gauge dual Clapton coil. A 20 gauge dual coil would not be a problem at all.

There's no single-coil airflow option, but even though I usually run single coil builds it doesn't really bother me. I do the same thing as I did with my TOBH — either just run it as-is, or slap on a small piece of electrical tape to block off one side. No big deal.

The spitback mesh, while a bit of a pain to install, works great, but of course the tradeoff is not being able to drip directly. And the whole thing is very nicely built with good materials — at $30 for an original (not cloned) RDA it is a steal.
