  1. well, I know this is an old review, but my arms race doest not turnt off on its own at all.
only one problem, I can not get it to stay in temperature control mode.
my mod, TO ME IS AWESOME.

  2. Bro this device was a piece of shit. Honestly I can't even take your reviews seriously. It's like your scared of pissing off the company. A shame because your knowledgeable

  3. The device has a laundry list of problems. I own the V2 model and I absolutely LOATHE it. I really wanted to like it because I am a huge military buff, but there are just too many problems with it. The first problem is that it is probably the least comfortable mod I have ever held in my hand. The side with the buttons cuts into your fingers or palm due to the sharp edges. Secondly, it is IMPOSSIBLE TO CLEAN. That may not seem like a big deal, I mean just don't get it dirty, right?? Think again. The first time you have leak on a tank or overfill it or even that little bit of vapor that comes out of the bottom of your tank when you hit it, all of it collects in the groves of the fake picatinny rail on the top or in the crevice between the sides of the mod at the top. I know what you're thinking: "So? just clean it up". HA! Best of luck with that. The mod is made of a "soft feel" plastic that has a kind of velvety texture. Juice sticks to it like crazy. And all those nooks and crannies are impossible to clean since you can't get into the seam between the top and the sides. My BIGGEST problem is the fact that if you have a leak that you would consider minor on any other mod, it is a MAJOR problem on this one, since the juice can EASILY go inbetween that crevice between the sides and top and get INSIDE OF YOUR MOD. I cannot tell you how many times I have gone to change the batteries and found a very large puddle in the bottom of the battery clip. I kid you not. Times when I wasn't even aware there was a leak, I would open it and find juice in the batteries. NOT COOL.

Bottom line, this device has a MASSIVE AND GLARING DESIGN FLAW THAT CANNOT BE FIXED WITHOUT CHANGING THE ENTIRE DESIGN. The only difference between V1 and V2 are that they put a bead of glue around the inside of top crevice (which does help protect the chipset a little bit) and they added inserts into the battery contacts in the clip (the V1 didn't have them and would randomly lose connection with the batteries).

AVOID THIS MOD AT ALL COSTS. IT'S NOT A MATTER OF IF IT FAILS FROM BEING FLOODED WITH JUICE, IT'S A MATTER OF *WHEN*. I retired mine and bought a matched set of Cartel Revenants instead (A stainless steel model and a Blaq model) but frankly, even whatever garbage Smok shit out this month is probably better than any version of an Arms Race.

  4. I wonder if there’s been a minor upgrade to this? I’ve had mine about a month and hasn’t auto shut down. I like the simplicity of it. Agree with screen I fire with finger not thumb and right handed so display is in my palm slightly annoying. Good review

  5. Does hav a really nice look to it.. Great review Mike!.. And Here are My thoughts, I think I'm gonna buy one of these & a Smok Mag so I can start building/assembling my vape fun gun. Blasting clouds of flavor everywhere, yeeeaaa!!!
