Hey Mike. I’ve been following you for a while, and I kicked the cigarette habit by following your advice. I am ready to expand my horizons and try a Mech mod. Have you or will you do a Mech mod safety and use video? If you have I would like to watch it. If you haven’t, will you?
Agreed, awesome mod, hits really well. Since I had to pay for mine, I'll give you some cons… In the button, the grooves & ridges where you can adjust the throw are too short – sometimes feels like it's getting stuck a little, potentially dangerous if it did. I had to sand mine a little with 1500 sandpaper to make them smoother. The grease that they put around the post & spring was all gunky, full of dirt & crud. Washed that crap off of mine and discovered that the sides of copper post were poorly machined and had a lot of rough patches. Got the sandpaper out again, fixed that problem. Other than that, still an awesome mod, but was disappointed with the sloppy machining in areas that aren't easy to see.
I sold my vindicator, due to a major con for me, I was getting arcing on bat's, I only use constant contact mods now. Its 2019,constant contact should be the norm for last 6 months. (only my opinion)
Kennedy 24/25 still the king of all RDAs after all this time. No one can touch it. I have a black cerakoted 25 sitting on a black cerakoted Vindicator 21700, murdered out and American made. It just doesn't get any better.
