flavor is awesome. air flow is good….however…i am having a huge problem with this tank and ive had it for a week and a half at this point. my coils are lasting a day on average. i have primed the hell out of them as well as letting them sit 15 mins before vaping and gradually stepping it up in wattage. still after about 24-48 hours the coil is burnt out and i get the worst burnt hits known to man. My last try with this tank is something i saw about poking small holes in the coil to help witch wicking because the cotton is packed so tight on these coils. i really hope it works because i do enjoy this tank alot. If anyone else knows anything else i can try that may help me please let me know!

I had to wait until the initial problems were fixed, so didn't get the alloy coloured coils, but the shiny stainless ones. I was also informed that the main problem initially only affected the 0.2 coils, so played safe and got an extra tube of the 0.5 ohm coils. First day on the first coil was outstanding. Second day, about half way in started to get the burnt taste and burning sensation at the back of my throat. I swapped the coil out for a new one out of the tube and exactly the same thing. Two days in and got the burnt taste again. I am running it on a Therion DNA 75 in TC Mode – S316L running at about 55W / 440 degrees. I take your point about the sugary juices. I have a sweet tooth and use fairly sweet juices – all of which however, never bothered my old Crown 1 coils and I used to get a couple of weeks out of them. It is really frustrating as I love the tank, the look of it, the airflow, the top fill etc, etc.. It is now relegated to my shelf until Uwell sort the coil problem.
I totally understand that some people are getting bad coils. But I have to say, my tank is running flawlessly. No leaking, no dry hits…nothing. Nothing but great flavor and respectable clouds. I'm sure it was the first batch that had problems. Mine came with the shiny coils, not the brushed looking ones. I feel bad for the people with bad ones. I wouldn't give mine up for anything.
any issues Mike with the coils that came in the tank. I went through both coils that came with it within 4 tanks of fluid. The .50 I maxed it at 45watts and the .25 I maxed it at .65 watts. I wicked it the same as I did with the original Crown same juice . Cheapskates penny pincher 3 nic not sure on vg since its not displayed on bottle. but did great like I said on the crown. any suggestions on why this may of happened.
hello, I am using the Joytech eVic VTC mini with Aspire Cleito..would it be worth upgrading the tank to the Crown v2 ? Also, what mode should I run it on ?
im noticing 2 different coil heads, a brushed aluminium style and later a shiny coil which seems to have improved a bit idk if the change has effected the flavor or not but its better to me
Got my tank yesterday, after hearing plenty bad news about the coils I had to come and tell you this tank has had ZERO issues so far. No leaks and I mean bone dry! (Unlike my weepy V1) and the .25 coil that came pre installed has been flawless. I'd even go as far to say it tastes better than the v1 but hey that might just be that fresh coil feeling lol. Zero dry hits and this tank gives silky smooth inhales. Rocket Man has never tasted so good!

I bought this one based on your review , im excited and just when i was about select wattage (since you said dont go on the specified wattage) , could you tell me what the minimum wattage ranges for 0.25ohm and 0.5ohm coils, i know you said the maximum is 65 for 0.25 ohm and 45 for 0.5ohm, but whats the minimum so i can find my my best suitable watt within the minimum and max ranges.
So I'm late to the giveaway (unless you have some crap hanging around, I love free crap #CrownisKing) but still, just wanted to throw this out there: Any issues with spotty coil quality? I'm having like 35-40% luck with my coils tasting great for over a week vs being garbage within two days.
