Honestly from thinning out the cotton i tend to get my cotton to burn in the middle of my spaced coils. Idk how you did it, i tried to do the exact same thing but it just kept burning the cotton so i stopped

Hm, I have had 2 regular mod boxes that have both failed on me. I am very interested in a mechanical mod like this one as it won't fail, it also looks real nice and I have always preferred the form factor of just a straight tube over a block. The safety things does concern me a little, I mean, I am not retarded, I can read up on everything I need to know before starting to use something like this and I do have some basic electronics knowledge. Would you recommend this thing to someone like me? I see it has a lot of drilled holes in it, making me believe it wouldn't turn into a shrapnel bomb in case a battery shorted.
