Wtf don't they read about that shit material (silicone) giving bad taste to your eliquids??
I've stopped using silicone long ago, as it gave me always weird taste, (bicycle inner tube taste)
(Nicotine makes silicone turn bad and after a while gives u bad taste, and you can wash it with kryptonite but still give you bad taste)
And where I live there are lot's of people dropping of the silicone hype.
Since I went back to plastic bottles and they work fine.
They really should give a choice plastic or silicone.

Honestly it's pretty good for the price. And that comes from someone who still uses 25$ hugo squeezer since more than a year because there's no real good alternative for 21700. The pulse 80/90 eat batteries like I've never seen (at least 30% and more like 40-50% more than mech) and this cheapo plastic urgh…. Topside is ugly and has a battery hatch that will obviously break, 75$ for ugly plastic non-lasting chinese crap because "top refill"? Aurora ugly button and those hcigar hard plastic bottles jeez… Rebel dna not bad, but ugly logo. Boxer regulated 229$ wtf. All in all, might as well spend 129 and be good with that dotmod. Bottle compartimented from the rest is a huuuuuge pro for daily heavy and no headache maintenance usage imo. Don't mind the buttons under the door, coming from a mech I could care less, set it, use it.
I want to see more single 21700 regulated squonk mods
I’ve got the DotSquonk mechanical. The only drawbacks were that it doesn’t take 21700’s and has a really funky method of cleaning the 510. Seeing that the 510 on this one appears to not be accessible makes me wonder what changes they’ve made. I also didn’t see a TCR setting… That’s a con in my book.

Thought about getting one until you said $130, I don’t think they are smokin vape I think they are smokin dope . Ain’t no difference between this and my vapes now , battery flavor none of it

I’ve got the original DotSquonk that takes the 20700’s. Black just like yours. I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced this, but there is a rather involved process to clean the squonk pin in that model. Having had to do that cleaning process a couple of times I’m really surprised to see that the squonk system in this new mod is completely enclosed. I like that it is now a regulated mod, but I did not see any way to adjust TCR’s in the menu. That is kind of a serious fail in my mind. I frequently use differing versions of NiFe wire when utilizing temp control. As much as I am impressed with this mod, it’s going to be a pass for me. Great review!

I've been coveting this mod ever since it dropped good review on it and you helped me make my decision on placing my order for it I already own a Topside Dual and its a beast which also has its proprietary bottle but it's too heavy to carry around when on the move so it either stays in the glove box or on my coffee table right now my only carry is the Pulse upgraded 80 with the GR1 with the 24 frosted white cap (my lightest regulated & the BF mech is the other) this one looks sexy/classy and would be a nice addition to my ever growing collection… shinynitis is a bad disease for my wallet LOL!

Just wanted to say I just got my dotsqounk 100w in the mail last night and im loving it. Your video def helped me pull the trigger on this purchase. i was looking for a mid tier mod that would last me and dotmod stuff is built to last. I wanted a classy mod to vape. Im a father and it allows me to sqounk and drip. We all know how hard it is to drip if you have a toddler. Im rocking a drop rda on it also. Thanks for the review.
Would have like to see say 150 watt not 100 watt for direct long it is a little low
I wanted to ask you Mike, I’ve been vaping a couple of year now and basically has been Nic salts in pods and a few sub Ohm Tanks devices, I really, really want to try this device but I’m getting people saying I should stick to the other devices as these are dangerous, sol can you answer i lately have gotten Smok Priv 3 G, and I love it too but really want to try these out, I’m very nervous about building my own coils etc so honest, I just want to see what flavour is like on this one

The HUGE con with the topside is the battery door! I have the carbon dual topside and after a while the battery door which is a hinge doesn’t stay close. That alone is the reason why I’m not buying another Topside and going for the DotMod. A top fill does not make up for a mod that you cannot use because the battery compartment won’t stay connected.
What is its charging speed (ampere) through the USB port?
Sell me the box please. Been out of the box game and on the Caliburn but want that box again. Can’t find it used or anything
