  1. I think this is my practical approach to get into nic salts not really liking the pod systems for a few reasons.  I'm used to my Reuleaux  Rx 200s and Gen3, daily carry and battery life.  What's good about this system is inexpensive Ni-MH cells can be used and they are capable of high current load and are also tough cells, they can handle temperature extremes . Easily replaced when their life cycle is complete where as internal battery mods and pods are disposable. In a pinch AA are readily available. Amazon basics sells good Ni-MH cells.  Joyetech makes good quality products so I will have to try one.

  2. I think this is also for people who dont like going to vape shops or dont have any nearby and more so for the middle aged old school smoker who just started vaping and isnt comfortable buying batteries online

  3. says one of the pros is you dont have to carry around an external charger, but just a minute ago said this vape does not have a usb for charging and the batteries can only be charged by an external charger

  4. I've been wanting to get my aunt of the cigarillos, and this would be perfect for her. She travels a lot and to foreign countries. Being able to go to the local grocery market would be so easy and convenient. It's not like she isn't doing that anyways lol

  5. I travel quite a bit and have to say that a couple times I have been left without power. I like to go off road and even though I have a system in my vehicle which delivers various forms of power, I still find myself sometimes having flat batteries on my devices, so this will be great to take with. There are also some situations where I do not want to create massive clouds of smoke (meaning I sneak in a few hits in an area where it is not really allowed). This is why I have a small eLeaf vape just in case I go somewhere where it could cause an issue. There are also some airlines which gives you crap if you travel with rechargeable batteries.

  6. A little too gimmicky for the price. The JOYETECH EXCEED D19 KIT is a better investment AND $9 cheaper, while The SMOK STICK PRINCE BABY KIT is a much better buy and only $6 more. I understand that smokers are a large target market, but too many options that don't offer any real value only muddies the water. Stick with your starter program and the converts will be back to buy better gear.

  7. I kinda like this idea, if we could somehow get to like a sub ohm set up using easier to find batteries that are also a hole lot cheaper imagine the amount of smokers that would make the switch, I know so many people that are scared of 18650s and 20700s that it puts them off the switch completely regardless of the information on battery saftey

  8. I'd love to see this in more mods, or even a multi battery chipset like on a multifuel engine! So that you can use both HD Batteries and AA. With adapters you could use 20700s or 18650s.

  9. A vape mod which can take super cheap, non-proprietary, NiMH rechargeables… which output "high drain" current very well, and go strong for about 500-1000 recharge cycles, and cost like $2?
I mean, you can put a dozen nimh AA batteries on a charger strip for less than the price of 1 battery for most vapes (including the price of the charger strip), and 2 of them in the device is around 5000 mAh of power…. Do the math.
The fact this wasn't marketed 2 years ago blows my mind.

  10. It's safer and more compact, so obviously a step in the right direction, in my opinion.

This isn't the wild vaping West of 2014 or 2015… Sub-ohm coils are considered standard now. AA batteries work because you don't need high voltage when you have low resistance. The batpack is a massive step in the right direction for simple MTL devices

  11. I guess as a starter kit this is doing its Job great. it might be great for smokers who are used to carry a box of cigarettes around but instead of carrying these they now got a vape using less space. I think there is no screen because u cant adjust wattage or anything like this, so overpowering the coil inside the tank isn't possible as well. GG 10/10 would use as an alternative for smoking (if I was a smoker ^^)

  12. I hate the chargers on vape pens. The charger takes forever, or it stops working entirely. Although I hate the fact batteries suck for the environment, I have grown really tired of buying chargers that crap out. Waiting 4-6 hours to charge is a pain.
I will definitely be purchasing one of these.
