Great review!! Congratulations and thank you. I also have a Kayfun 5 and just want to ask you a question about my builds. I think I´ve tried almost everything (wire and wicking) but it´s always gurgling and popping liquid. Do you think I shoud raise up my coils a little bit? All suggestions and tips will be very much appreciated. Thanks
Wow Alex, great review and video. As usual, you two made me laugh with your bloopers. Your honesty is refreshing because it's nice to hear when you tell your viewers that your tank's leakage was due to your improper wicking. There's nothing worst than a person who cannot or will not admit to fault, even when confronted with the obvious. A honest review will always be the best review!
Alex, I am a kayfun/Russian nut (I own 6 authentic) and have been unable to find an atty that has the flavor of the original Kayfun 3.1 and Russian 91%'s. However, I do love checking out new tanks that tickle me fancy and have been contemplating investing in the KF5. How does the flavor compare to your KF Lite? I have a KF4 that I don't use often because I can't find my happy place; I don't want to buy a KF5 and have it end up just sitting around.
Kayfun 5 – M2L Kit is released …The M2L Kit for Kayfun 5 is an accessorie for a tighter draw. Included are three pieces with three different diameter(1,6mm / 1,4mm / 1,2mm). It should be placed in the air channel from above, just directly in front of the coil.
Nice review guys (well Alex)! I'll be back for more. It is nice to find an authentic person doing an honest review. I love my Kayfun 5. I'm now waiting on the M2L kit.
Awesome! Thanks for the review. I know what you mean about "Quality". I have a Kayfun 4 and am very impressed with it – constantly. After watching this, however, I know that I have to get a 5!!!
Oh… I should also mention, for the adventurous DIY folks whom might prefer a tighter airflow (like me):
Since Kayfuns have a nice vertical airflow directly under the coil, we can slightly reduce the size to custom levels with a bit of stainless steel mesh. For mine, I just used a drill bit that was slightly smaller than the airflow hole, cut my SS mesh small enough for just a single wrap around the bit, and slightly shorter than the height of the hole.
Recently I decided to open the flow back up. A sewing needle helped me to pull the SS mesh out nice and easy!
FIRST
Alex is cute
those are some hot legs, and not the kind found on a crappy coil.
