With that type of Coil jig like Kuro ,infinity etc you can make perfect parallel coils easy , but with the UD coil jig its very hard due the the shape of the screw .
i just bought some shit yesterday for building and im completely new haven't built a single coil yet, i saw one of these and thought nah im not going to get it because like you said at 2:09 I feel like its taking away from the building experience and i want it to be all me but now… im wishing maybe i did get one just to have the option incase mine come out ugly but i have confidence my coils after wrapping will come out as beautiful as you 🙂
I actually just ordered a coil jig kit. Getting into rebuilding as a cheaper in the long run alternative to $15 for a 5 pack of atomizer heads. Getting the bulk of my equipment at the beginning of February, but I figure, might be good to get a little bit of practice in in the meantime, building mock coils
I'm new to the rebuild world. I recently bought a themis rta dual coil tank. My question is how many wraps do I put in on my 24g coils I'm tryin to make ? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Does it matter if you wind the wire clockwise or anticlockwise around the jig. I ask because I have some pre made coils and they have been wound up going anti clockwise?
Who cares about the art. I'm about getting my build done asap so I can get my nicotine fix. Lol screw the haters. Neat tool and great video. I just got the kuro 3mm version.
Holy shit that is stupid easy. I'm only paying about $3 for 50 premades and they send like 8 different varieties but this looks like a great option to have in your toolbox.

Your scratching the teak wood! unless thats just colored by stain lol.
What do parallel offer over single or clapton? The resistance on parallel gets higher, lower or same as single or clapton?
does that make me OCD for making my dual coils centered, so they have even (bow tie) cotton on both sides? =I
