As you probably heard, the Gov. of Michigan banned all flavored vape fluids, supposedly because she claimed that it was aimed directly at marketing to kids, because adults wouldn't use fruit or whatever flavored vape fluids… and putting hundreds of small vape stores out of business. Well, THIS week, a judge overturned the ban, saying it was unconstitutional! He said that the Gov. used the excuse that it was an 'emergency situation' and therefore she had the right to make the ban. The judge said that the Gov. has known for at least six months about flavored e-liquids, and if it were an 'emergency' as she said, she should have done it months ago. So, the ban was lifted. I know the Gov. is trying to find a way to re-instate the ban, but it will be at least a year before she may be able to do it, and it gives pro-vaping groups some serious time to work to prevent it. So, good news, for now!
