  1. Where to start. I was on travel for business and happened by the Theorem at the Vapor Shark store in Addison Tx. I was truly excited to try this item out as soon as I got to my hotel. Upon opening the box the very first thing I noticed was the overwhelming smell of machine oil. With a notched coil already installed and wicked I knew that I had to trash the cotton and give the atomizer and notch coil a very thorough washing.
After the wash I inspected the atomizer for any other issues as the lack of care for presentation was quite apparent. I found the o-ring that holds the top cap to the tank glass and the positive post (not the 510 pin) to be a little loose. After juice has touched the o-ring it became even looser allowing the top cap to come off when not wanted. The positive post can be moved slightly with just my fingers. The 510 pin itself came installed tool tight. Lets not forget that unless you have a syringe of some sort to fill this up it is quite a pain the butt as it just pools at the fill port if you fill too fast which is somewhat easy to do.
Now wicked, coil primed, and tank filled I take my first vape on it. I was using the single air flow piece wide open. Even wide open it was quite restrictive. The flavor was VERY muted! I figured I’d give time for the coil to break in as some coils need to be “seasoned” for best flavor and that was never the case. I even tried the dual air flow piece to get the draw I desired and almost reached it without any improvement in flavor. It seemed the more I vaped the more muted the flavor got. I can only guess the reason to this is that due to the design of this device holds in a lot of condensation thus “watering down” the e-juice.
The notched coil with its very thin design ramps up way too fast in VW mode, burning the cotton very quickly and reaches max temp (550 is my preferred) in TC mode, this is due to the thin design of the notch coil and the lack of proper air flow design to flow around and cool the coil. Later I tried a simple dual vertical coil setup with very little improvement. Upon returning home from business I installed dual vertical clapton coils (26core/32wrap). These provided the best flavor without a doubt; however, the flavor was still muted considerably compared to other non-RDA mods.
I have had the Theorem for two weeks now and have changed out coils about five or six times trying to find “the one” that works best for it. This brings us to material quality which I find to be quite low. I was in process of changing the current coils for a Ni200 set up to test that out when one of the grub nuts on the positive post rounded out on the inside. Typically it’s the fault of the allen key and not the grub nut rounding out, not here. The allen keys received in the package are of low quality most of the time so I bought a steel carbide set that I use. Since having use this set I have not had any issue with any other atomizer that uses grub nuts until now. I now have a $30 cylindrical paperweight after only two weeks of occasional use (until I get the right coil setup to make it worth anything I just test different coils on it when I have the time).
Also with the very small drip tip your lips can easily get burned touching the metal top cap and the glass tank heats up to blistering levels if you're remotely close to a chain vaper (I vape between 40-65 watts depending on coil setup) so please be careful!
I believe there was a fantastic dream made when this was realized, however, there was no real thought, quality control, or quality assurance put into this atomizer. I implore you to not purchase this product until they’ve made significant improvements in their version two.

  2. Hey Mike! Love your videos man, You're my "go to" guy when it comes to vaping. I tried to remove the glass on my theorem and it wouldn't come off. After literally half an hour I managed to remove it but the rim of the glass got chipped. Now I am using the sleeved glass to get better grip and maybe avoid breaking another glass. Any advice on how to get it to come off without breaking it?

  3. I'm thinking of getting this (want to start dripping and this seems like a good starter to do so) when using the notch coil would I use it in "ss" mode if I want to temp control it?

  4. @mikevapes how do u like that cuboid now that you've had it for awhile? i know you did a review of it but im wondering how its holding up after a while. i lost my rx200 and im looking for a good replacement
