Greg Hunt is one of the haters. Years ago he stated that "vaping will not be legal under his watch". He used the US as an excuse for his ban, talking about the youth uptake in vaping. It's not even a problem in Australia because nicotine was always prohibited without a prescription and fines were always high (up to 45,000 dollar and 2 years in prison). Only nicotine-free liquids are available in Australia (in vape shops). That wouldn't have changed under the new law. What's changed is prohibiting the import of nicitine even with a prescription. As we know the teens try vaping to get the nicotine buzz. Australian teens never got that. No doctor would have given a 15 years old teenager a prescription. The arguments of Hunt are BS. And he must know that. But 1 pack of cigarettes is 40,- dollars and 75% of that is tax!!! They want to get rid of vaping because it's too successful for their liking.
I'm so happy they got that postponed! Down here in FL we have 1 more day until the our Governor signs or ignores SB-810 to ban all our shit and add a 85% wholesale tax.. also the vape mail ban bill is around. They couldn't make it anymore obvious how much vaping affects their profits.
This is why i love ireland Ireland doesnt count vaping as smoking so we can buy any vape device and e-juice in vape stores or in retail shops The legal age of vaping in ireland is 15 because ireland knows over 80% of worldwide smokers start smoking before they turn 18. Also its actually harder for people to get ciggerettes in ireland cuz they are in less shops and even if your like 20 you still need id because the laws state you have to be over 18 to smoke
The ban had to be dumped because no doctor would write a prescription like the government said they would. Mine refused too. How can they write a prescription for something that hasn't been legalised yet?
Funny how Dashvapes does not mention how high the sales tax is in B.C. It is a whopping 26% and in B.C the retail price is also higher than most other provinces.
Good for them with all the “other” stuff going on around the world just protest peacefully of course. Enough of this stuff banning Vaping.. They’ll sell you cancer causing tobacco because that makes a lot of sense LOL.
The netherlands is also working hard to ban vaping. we're already working with a shortfill ban, so we can't sell anything bigger than 10 ml juices with a max of 20 mg nicotine. they now want to ban all flavours except for tobacco. in The Netherlands they want todo a flavor ban also starting 2021… all flavor's eccept tabaco flavor ofc, meanwhile tabaco can do whatever… we have some adolf hitler wannabee aholes in charge that dont care about the 7 million ppl who die each year… iám not how sure much longer i can express my opinion on this peacefully… while so many ppl are dieying from cancer… my grandfather died from lungcancer after smoking for 50 years, my dad is currently fighting lung cancer after smoking for 50 years… and after 25 years of smoking i stopped and started vaping…. if they really ban flavor's i might have todo something nasty out of pure self defensive…. cause i dont wanna get lungcancer murdered and become one of those 7 million deaths… i want to be able to continue using this 95% safer alternative…. and if this western world / society is even remotely free as it claims to be.. it will let me do this… or suffer the consequences!

The US is going even worse. Instead of outright banning vaping, they are seeking to allow the USPS to ban the shipment of ANYTHING vape mail. This goes from the eliquid and devices (mods/atomizers) to spools of wire and packs of cotton. Yes, this even includes batteries and their chargers to mass produced stock coils.
Agreed: Everything over 20 mg can only be sold in vape shops — we need that one in Europe !!!

South Africa has banned vaping and tobacco since March. And it's still going on.
