The OXVA Origin X offers all the stuff mentioned here and is more compact with a higher wattage output of 80watts. I guess you got to decide if you want durability or aesthetics and function. Good luck peeps

My Aegis boost is great, love the RBA, but I gotta be honest. The durable sucks. I haven’t dropped it once and the button has the paint chipped off and the plastic on the screen looks like shit. It’s all scuffed up and looks like my finger prints are imbedded into it. Durability=F, vape is like a B.
Maybe the pods don’t leak anymore! I have gotten about 6 pods for the original boost and every pod leaks out of the cracks, other than that it’s a good device
Love the new setup! I got myself the regular aegis boost with the 1500mah internal battery and i am very satisfied by it. I just don’t see what the difference is with the plus! It’s bigger, require a external 18650 (wich is nice for a more durable battery life and device life) and got a bigger pod, but it has the same look, same wattage output, same everything i feel like… Still nice and still recommend everything from aegis but it seems like it wasn’t necessary to build a vape that ain’t “that different”?
Thanks for the review Dave!! That's my biggest gripe with it too! I love the OG boost, with the rdta pod, mtl coil, closed off afc.. Perfect.. Can't do that with this one.. Even with the diy pod, it's was too much airflow. ( based off the picture on their website) huge letdown. I wish I didn't already buy the device
Looks like a solid device however it’s kind of a bummer that with a lot of pod devices have primary better performance with one of the coil options opposed to both. Like the .6 is just ok. But that’s also based on what kind of draw you like
I've used the boost plus for almost a month now cuz my original boost died. So far i am satisfied with it. The 0.4 ohm coil still last till now and no leaks at all. It's also easier to refill now unlike the original boost.
I work on a big construction site, my aegis boots has survived wet concrete, muddy puddles, being driven over, being dropped from about 10 meters onto rocks, constant sand and dust. So long as I keep it clean it never fails me.
Whole Aegis line, I've sold dozens (work in vape shop in March, England for 4 years)… Love the Boost plus, but the TPD 2ml restrictor makes it virtually impossible to fill, and can't be easily removed unlike the built in battery Boost…I'm waiting for derestricted pods to be delivered from outside Europe. New camera setup is looking great! Like so great you could do some new comedy skits with it and win! Hahaha. The Boost Plus is sexy but I feel it was rushed and not quite right. Its huge compared to the Boost, no RBA, no RDTA head and no compatibility with the Boost hardware at all.. and 40w? Ouch.. imo I'd take the curvy sexy slim Boost over the Plus all day.
