Quick update. So far no leaking from the bottle. Tube sits in there perfect. Hack has been a success.

I don't see anything wrong with the metal rod the way it is. I squonk the shit outta mines to the very bottom and the rod doesn't obstruct me doing that one bit. I actually like better because I don't have to worry about the plastic tubing getting stretched out at the tip from contantly attaching it to the feeder pin, which is the reason all my other squonkers leak all over the inside.
Just got my pulse squonk bottle in today and performed a successful hack! This mod is now 100% better. Thanks mike!
Hey Mike , can you do a rewick on the Sourin Air? There's a couple of vids out there but not in English except maybe one and he's doing it to far away …they also opened up the air flow too… I know it seems pointless, but hacks are fun to tinker with none the less ….?✌
I just came across this video because I have been looking for a replacement parts to fix a capo that I just got that my girl found at her store this video has answered the question of why it looks the way it does somebody followed your video you are welcome they didn't follow too well because it is a little leaky and it does not sit flush
hi mike brill hack…done it but got one prob, the pipework at the 510 connection has come loose like its unscrewed not a major prob it still squonks but I'm a bit of a perfectionist,, can u do a disassemble so i can try to fix it

The bottle it came with is a 10ml bottle and you used an 8ml bottle from the pulse. That's strange. I figured you could get a bigger bottle in there giving that the bottle it came with was in a plastic shell

one of the cons you had for this device is that you did not like how the battery release button protruded far enough that you could accidentally hit it … the easy fix that I plan to do when I get mine in the mail soon from fasttech, is to file down the face of the release button. with the door open, file it down far enough to make it harder to press to open the door, but not to hard

Hi mike I realise you probably will won’t have time to read this but it might be of interest to someone. I bought this kit about 5 months ago at a bargain price in the uk . Didn’t use it because the bottle was so hard my grip would adjust the wattage and the screen so dim outside I couldn’t read it . The mod was no use to me so decided to do your bottle hack and it’s worked great I don’t have a dremel so used a needle file . I have done a hack of my own so I can see the screen this worked for me but anyone considering doing the same should note it might damage their mod. I removed the screen cover which is stuck on from the outside with double sided tape no need to take the mod apart. Best if the mod is at a warm room temperature to soft the glue. I put masking tape to mark the outside of the lit screen.i then used the end of a very thin knife to separate the screen cover from the mod. Look around the edge to find the best gap the bottom is best because the cover has two hooks at the top that clip to the mod. I did mine from the top because it was the only place with a gap and the clips didn’t break. I then used a small dill to cut out the tinted plastic where I had stuck the tape and filed the hole to make it neat. I then stuck the cover back on with double sided tape. The lit screen is now exposed and I can see it clearly. All problems now fixed and I’m able to use it.??
Thanks for this video I just got a capo as a gift the bottle with it sucks so bad I’m always getting burn it doesn’t sqounk enough I’m for sure doing this thank thank you so much !!!! I have a tvc dovpo I absolutely love it just the bottom door is broke
