You all need to stop whining. His review was pretty honest. He straight up said it's expensive and doesn't do much. You know how Mike is, he doesn't really tear anyone or anything apart. He's classy. And you should be too. Mikes done a LOT for the vape community as a whole, cut him some slack. Love you Mike and doze nuts too! Lol.
This could be something for me in my new place since I'm not allowed to vape inside and have a smoke detector right outside the door of my computer room. Unfortunately the price is a downside.
Vape is a liquid mist so particle filters, including HEPAs are not appropriate. They get wet and plug. The old electrostatic filters that charge the 'particles' with a voltage and grab the charge are best. Some can run into Ozone regulations in places like California but they are available. Sharper Image sells one. easy to clean, low noise fans and works well, no Ozone that I can tell. No window coating I can tell so far (about a week). works well and 'only' $250
I was curious about this when I first heard about it but now I see it's just a simple air purifier with a crazy price tag marketed towards vapors , In my opinion it's not worth it , you can get a Hamilton beach true air for a Quarter of the price and It does the same thing possibly better
Really don't understand all the hate. Wanted a review of this thing, this video was the first that popped up. Ok so as a result, I won't purchase one but I have to give it to Mike here, a straight to the point, honest and pretty thorough review. Cheers mate, you've just got a new subscriber!
I have 3 guinea pigs & guinea pigs have sensitive respitory systems so this would b cool for when me and my bf vape in the room & its too cold to have the window open
so this thing is useless than. so iv got a Q will a heppa filter work alot better than this ? i can find them for around 40-60 didn't know if that would work at all has i live in a small place and a few good drags and the hole place looking like snoop dog lives here
Check out the v stealth vape filter. Just heard about it and it's dirt cheap! Seems to even work better lol It's something I wanna check out for myself!
I found a better solution to this vapor eliminator. I was vaping in my bathroom as usual, and i wanted to try to see if my hair dryer will blow out the vapor… Soon realized that if you blow your vapors into the back of the hair dryer on high heat setting it completely eliminates the vapos. Someone needs to take this concept and put it into a lower CFM so it doesnt make much noise and use an array of coils just like a hair dryer to dry out the moisture from the compartment. This could be made at an exponentially lower cost than the this vapenut. I might try to build one for fun, but i have to draw out concepts first.
3 people vape in owa house and there is a fire alarm in the living room and we put a shower cap over it some times it doe stop it so I just open the window a little bit good idea but I doe think it's worth it

better than nothing but very expensive for that…
Reminds me of the smokeless ashtray from Gremlins
cheap stand up air cooler will work better.

ooh that sould maybe keep my windows a little cleaner. because now i have to wash my windows each week
if you tape an air conditioner filter to a box fan you probably have something better then that
I guess lol…..Damn the vape movement is just opening up doors for all kinds of bullshit lol

Nothing beats a fan pointing out the window
It should also double as a speaker so teens could tell their parents that it's a speaker.
