So Mike just got this mod in the mail today. The quick release… not something I care much about. I'm not so lazy that I need to save the time it takes to screw in my atty. Overall a beautiful device and I wish more companies would just do away with that temp control bs.
Just got my foxy mod. Absolutely love it! I could give or take the quick release. Screwing my addies on and off has never really been an inconvenience. All and all its a great and solid device.
I like the idea of the quick release but not for the obvious reason!! It will allow you to position your atty perfectly to your preferance. For me i could position the air flow holes to the side of the device, so if i do a blow through i wont get a face full of vapour ? I would think it would be a big hit with people who have tank ocd too ?
Hi Mike, The quick release is great feature as it's effortless and sometimes the rda may not get unscrewed easily so this comes in handy. Also when changing heads this would be my favorite way in and out.
I think it might work great as a bench mod. I have like a dozen black or gun metal RDAs built for MecHs. Has much as I try to keep track, ha right doesn’t work. Quick change might be nice. Really like it’s simplicity.
quick release?? for me it is a pro. bcoz sometimes or someone have difficulty removing their tanks (supposedly a clumsy person) which they might got the glass broken or for the "wet hands" people might unable twissing their dripper bcoz it is slippery or so if they use towel or other thing to twiss it over,they might get their atomizer scratch,(this is pain in the ***)there it is usefull for the quick release. the designer of this mod must be a good guy for always thinking the basic problem for other vapers while he build this device with an elegent and more likely a V.I.P style ?
Avoid at all costs. 1st broke within 4 days due to faulty firing button, 2nd in 2 days due to battery compartment issues. Full refund after the second. After browsing more on the product, seems to be VERY common problems
To bad for the quick release. Otherwise I may have bought one. This quick release thing is so wrong. It can damage my atty. So it's already out. Then there is the long term use. This mechanisme can go broken. Another reason not to like it. Connection issues another. And then there is the astetics. This device looks really Nice… But it's oddly high… And apparently that's also due to the quick release. So i guess they we're really on to something with this mod. Simple features, Nice and clean looks. And then completely ruined it with the quick release. What a pity.
Quick release is not needed at all. I think that it is completely useless because even someone with arthritis or other issues would have a hard time using that it didn't look very friendly at all to the user. I was considering this mods until i watched this review. I love Augvape but they made a pretty mod that is way to basic for me. Good video one of your better ones.
I don't see a great benefit from QR. In fact it's a potential spot of failure in the future. How long will that spring hold up that keeps the 510 together? I'd rather it was just a regular 510. Make the mod a little wider to accomodate 30mm atomizers. Love center mounted 510s
I think the quick release would benefit subohm tank users to keep the tank from screwing apart and spilling liquid when you’re removing it. That has happened to me a few times. That’s the only reasoning I can think of for having it.

Any advice for me because I have one an it tells me when I fire it battery fault but I could still chuck some clouds

foxy is the first mod I actually like how it looks… i usually go for plain… and most mods look like they're from the future.

That quick release might come in really handy for people that use the dead rabbit RTA
