Very interesting. It's hard to make a RTA where you can switch from DL to a true MTL. Great job Footoon. Great review Mike! Glad you took it apart. What a crazy airflow system.
A lot of companies / designers should take a page out of Footoon’s book when it comes to innovation. They design their products from the ground up. I may be wrong but I’ve never seen someone else’s design implemented into one of their products. They’re always doing something different with their airflow design. And their innovation usually works well. I’ve always been a fan of their products and this one looks like a winner. I certainly hope they look into changing the o-rings cause I’m a huge fan of my own 810 drip tips. This may sound silly but not being able to use my own drip tips could be a deal breaker for me. Footoon is always thinking outside the box. The drip tip situation has me weary bc I would love to put an aftermarket resin "rip" tip on there as I noticed that raised deck on the top cap, if I am not mistaken. Great review Mike.

i've used the Merlin mini direct lung with MTL airflows using 6mg juice for years, for me thats my perfect setup, i love the restrictive direct lung with the throat hit of higher mg nicotine,, i think i found a new device to upgrade on, thanks for the review Mike!!!
