I started vaping by this device. It is not a complete mtl device I also tried other open pods and close pods systems the only thing which resemble real smoking is juul Virginia tobacco.
I personally don’t like closed systems because I vape 0 nicotine juices and as far as I know there’s not been any closed systems that have 0 nicotine pods.
From my experience, these are by far the most popular vape for teens (at least in Canada). We have a few sketchy corner store guys who sell the 50 nic pods to teens.
Here in Brazil the stigs are coming pretty strong … About one year ago those plastic usb looking stigs were everywhere and about 6/7 months ago those slick metal ones showed up and became a instant success. Many people that I know, even close friends, stopped using zeros and other open pods because they preferred stigs.
Edit: not that anyone cares .. but I own a Smok Nord and a Smok Species currently
i am using a dabpen cartridge to vape, is it safe? i started using it today but unsure if its safe since carts are for oils idk how it would handle vg/pg
iv seen more pod systems on the market and the traditional rebuildables are old now i still make my coils and wick them and still need battery life for my taste not keen on pods.
Thoughts on yearn being open and closed? Think uwell missed marketing this correctly. It actual vapes more like mtl with same great caliburn flavour. Caliburn pods last longer though, think coil size/heat burn yearn pods out quicker
Closed pods are just a waste of money, and you are limited to the flavours they offer. An open based pod system literally takes a few seconds to fill. Like I just feel the slight convenience isn't worth it. Not only are prefilled pods more expensive, they tend to also not hit as well as a open based system. Is saving like 3 seconds worth it? Do people think a open based system is too much work, or that it would be too hard to get into? Like I had people say they just like the convenience over a tank, but they seem to not realize there are better pod systems that are refillable, and it isn't that time consuming. I understand years ago vaping did take more to get into, butt now with all the open based pod systems, there is no real reason to buy devices that use prefilled pods. People also argue they use prefilled cus they are cheap, yet don't realize a bottle of eliquid lasts longer, and you can get a 3-4 pack of pods for like 20 bucks, and each pod can be refilled several times before having to change it. I used the Caliburn, and had pods last a month. Heck my dad owns a Caliburn which I bought for him, and hes had pods last 2 months, and a 30ml of salt nic lasts about a month or so. Open based is cheaper, better vape quality, and you have a crap ton of flavours to choose from. There is literally 0 real benefit to close based systems.
IMHO closed pod systems are great for "beginners" (those fresh off cigs). They are basically an over glorified cig-a-like (you can just walk into most convenience stores and buy one and its ready to go) – Same repetition as a cig. smoker.
The stlth was great for a while, but to often the coil burns out b4 the ejuice or they LEAKED big time iwent for a caliburn a year later never looked back
