I like the design/aesthetics of the #PM80, but would like to see a 18650 version!?! … Since the #PM80 will do 80W and Is essentially a DL pod device it would be terrific to see at least a RBA coil… or a 510 atty adapter?!?
When I first saw it on their IG I was surprised they didn't put a PTF port on the top. Glad to see I'm not the only one that feels like we shouldn't have to remove the pod to refill it (especially since it's a sub-ohm device).
I love vaporesso, their gt coils are really great and their vapes are amazing. I did see a lot of negative comments though, which do make me question vaporesso. I will say thoug, I have seen a lot of fake vaporesso vapes out there so be carefull
I expect my post will get some TLDR comments, but I wanted to cover why I abandoned Vaporresso products for exponentially higher quality gear. I will never own another Vaporesso mod or other ancillary supplies. I have had four Vaporesso (yeah, I have that requisite parts tackle box of the bones and pieces from mods of years gone by) models and while I like the design of most of them, they simply began to fall apart with regular use, not from drops or abuse. They are assembled using adhesive tape and minimal fasteners possible. The contacts for the batteries are coated cheap materials that quickly wear and reduce the complete contact of the cells reducing the conductivity and current flow. So why did I buy several of them? Like I said, they have had some well very designed models that had attractive features. Unfortunately their build quality turned me off their products; and I was not impressed with their coils and generally would substitute a better quality atomizer head almost immediately. You get an accurate impression of the build quality just from the the machining of the threads. The threads will engage each other fine, but you can tell by the feel of the threads while screwing or unscrewing to swap a battery that there wasn't any attention paid to smoothing out the cut threads and it just feels rough and cheaply made. Personally I have moved away from Vaporesso, SMOK, and iStick (though I am still missing my Tria that some a-hole swiped when my back was turned) in favor of Geek Vape's Aegis models. I loved my limited edition colorshift teal that someone actually wanted bad enough to smash and grab out of my car while it was charging. Since it was impossible to find another one, I held out for them to release their 200W limited edition Zeus series Aegis Legend Kit in Gunmetal which is awesome. It is built like a tank with a Mg alloy exoskeleton secured with nicely recessed star fasteners, Al + Zinc body covered with thick silicone skin, faux leather with the Zeus embossing. Being IP67 rated does mean accessing the USB port and removal of the two cells can be a little bit tougher than other mods, but I find it a fair trade-off for being tough and water resistant. I love the Alpha tank with it's tight tolerances and is simple to fill. Combined with their MeshMellow coils this Geekvape Aegis is in a totally different class. No, it isn't a pod-style mod, but there isn't another mod built to survive the zombie apocalypse like the Aegis so until there is, this is the only rig I will be making clouds with. Oh and good luck getting warranty coverage with Vaporesso. They screwed me twice despite providing pics and all the info they requested proving two of their mods came new out of the box with defects. I'll try their devices again when they provide replacements at no cost and maybe I will be surprised, but I am not going to hold my breath for that to happen.
Hey Mike. Great review. FYI, my version comes with airflow plugs. They are these rubber thingie to block the 3 airflow holes on each side. Maybe the reviewer version doesn't come with these plugs. Also another pro, you're able to use Voopoo Vinci coil in this, it fits perfectly, but not the other way around.
mike, they gave two pairs of rubber airhole covers that you can plug in when you feel the airflow is too loose, maybe you can double check if the rubber is in the box

Personally I consider Vaporesso a great brand, their devices are always up to date, their coils among the best on the market.

Vinci coils work in the Target PM80 including the 4 rba's currently out (mechlyfe, yachtvape, ruok, and voopoo brand name)

With the way the coil sits in there couldn't you technically twist it so there's less airflow to the coil?
