These are gorgeous! I really love the purple and blue carbon fibers and the green and blue resins. And the ability to change the color of some of the things in the screen. Overall, it seems like a great device and I've been dieing to try one of those tanks for quite awhile. Thanks for the review, Mike!
No the battery door popped open because it's a design flaw and I think I'm going to cry. I have a smok alien 220 watt TC and the battery door fell open on me from day one. It was just once in awhile. And then one day one of the tabs that holds it shut just snapped right off from plastic stress. It is weak! And I bought this right after Christmas with the money I got as a gift. Something else it's done FYI is the housing has come apart at the top. Now the housing has pulled away from the other side of the mod that holds the fire button. The area that the connection problem is occurring is the two Tiny screws on the top better located directly to the left & right sides of the 5-10 connection . That's where the Gap is . directly under the 5:10 connection. What caused it is the plastic that the tiny screws screw into on the inside of the mod housing broke off so the screws have nothing 2 screw into to hold the side and the top together. It had to have been caused by the minimal amount of torque you put into screwing the Tank on. The reason I assume that that's what broke the housing is because just opening and closing the battery door and then the amount of resistance put against it by the batteries was all I needed to break off the plastic . So I have a 2 month old mod that I am holding together with three hair bands. I needed to order something else that was not falling apart. I thought perhaps I'd gotten a lemon. But I was little bit shy about trying another alien so I just this very day placed an order for the Majesty mod. And now I'm watching reviews on it and you just said the battery door fell open once. Considering my experience history went from bad to catastrophic rather fast and you have your battery door fall open just like how it all started with mine, kind of points towards a design flaw. that is going to cause trouble rather quick from normal use. it's just flawed in the way they designed it. Now do you see why I want to cry? Oh my word.
