Can we just skip all this and can you get a scan on your lungs you’ve been vaping for years so get a scan and prove it doesn’t harm you as much as people claim
Honestly, I wish they had done this over here in the States. Many kids I know got/get vape products from convenience stores (i.e. gas stations), since most of the starter kits in them are cheap asf, & it's relatively easy to give someone money & have them go into a convenience store than it is to go in to a vape shop & buy things, even though some people still do that. And personally, T21 hasn't changed shit but make it a wee bit harder for kids to get stuff, since most of them know people who're 21+ or someone who know's someone.
Its dumb kids can still get a buzz from 20mg nicotine and when you are a kid you dont have many options anyways so it being mint or tobacco in corner stores is pointless they will still vape. Either they let corner stores sell the products or they dont. Not this half ass regulation
Thank god. Some good news. Great video Dave as always People should be going to a vape shop, not a convenience store to buy there vaping needs. The convenience stores sell to everyone regardless of age. All they are concerned about is sales. Thats it.
If they are passed, they will be effecting from may 1st?
Meanwhile in Norway, nicotine has been banned for years. The government agreed to implement the 20mg 10ml cap rules in 2016, and that they would come into effect in 2018. In 2018 they said they would be effecting from 2019. In 2019 they said 2020. I am now just waiting for another official statement saying the rules will be effecting from 2021.
Good News for Vape Shops — Bad News for Smokers !!! (I think convenience stores and gas stations can handle the regulations) The kids will still get their 50mg Mango-JUUL from social sources … while for many smokers who don’t have easy access to a vape shop 20mg nicotine is too low to switch …
i dont know why we "welcome regulations with open arms" its absurd!! let me breakdown what regulations really means…. regulations means, government takes or threatens your freedoms, then the people affected cries boos and whines until the government sells back their freedom in the form of taxes. i dont understand why this concept is unseen or acceptable by so many people.
This regulation would be very beneficial for a store like dash vapes haha. Better stock up on mango juul pods because no one will be able to get them in gas stations anymore
I feel like this needs to be nation wide instead of provincial. Like these are the most sane regulations any province has come up with. The 25% tax in bc is bullshit and kinda stupid in hindsight.
I'm in the US and I could live with everything you mentioned except the tax.But if the tax is reasonable , like 10%, I could live with that. But here in Florida they are pushing for 85% tax. Screw that!
So my fellow Canadian vapers how much is the sales tax in your province?.
In B.C our sales tax is an absurdly high 26%. Ours is more and likely the highest in Canada.
It has definitely deterred me from making large purchases (39.99 and above) at shops. For example, a device that is $59.00 will cost me pretty much $75.00 after tax which is ridiculous!
I've been finding quite a few good devices on Craigslist. A bit of a PITA having to travel to meet up with sellers but worth it to avoid paying the tax.
Ontarios regulation is perfect. Nothing to criticise.

I think is a good thing. Rather than banning. I agree. Wish they do this in Mexico.

What is there reason for an additional national tax ? That's BS. Nothing but a tax grab to replace the the obsene cigarette tax

fight the good fight
Vaping is not smoking so why the extra tax and why put extra tax my mods, tank, coils etc? Everything else makes sense though.

Glaciers move faster than our government.
I think personally that only specialty vape shops should be able to sell vape products
would you rather your kid vape a flavor, or go to drag queen story hour? just sayin…
I like those regulations. More flexibility and clients for the Vape Shops.

I am glad they didn't ban flavored E-juices
I agree 100% and it should the nation wide
Woh, hold up…are they still on with the banning of vape products. I thought that was so 2019. Geez, these anti vape people don't quit.
Awesome possum! ??

Entirely sensible. Smart. Seems the sensible bureaucrats won out over the knee-jerkers. Thanks for posting this.

Are you talking about Ontario, Canada ~ or The County of Ontario in New York [Where my mom & I live]?
