Bought an IQOS and it was a total waste of money – it's like a bad mini cigarette with a foul smell. Threw the contraption and several packages of the mini cigarettes into the garbage.
Btw walked on the street past an unfortunate user of an iqos… IT STANK SO FUCKING BAD. Like worse, waaaaay worse than a cigarette. But hey, people wanna exude hobo smell in a 20m radius around them, next time I smell one using, gonna walk over and give them some money and the adress of the next vape shop. „Take it man, you need it, and let these people help you.“

For me IQOS is actually good. I never wanted to stop smoking but brother gave me an ijust and i just quit without noticing. In Poland you have 20 cig packs and it's for 15PLN (about 4USD) and they give free packs for inviting friends to buy it. You can borrow the device from IQOS representative for week and try it out for free (i got one pack for test). Here you have 4 types of packs, Yellow, Amber, Green and Blue. Yellow is light, Amber is strong, Green is light menthol and Blue is strong mentol. I heard there are more tastes outside of European Union like berry or lemon. There is also Glo device from British American Tobacco. In comparison to IQOS it's easier to use and to clean but taste is awful for me (and how device looks) They have alot more tastes (including berry, and lemon) berry and strong menthol are only ones that i could "heat". Another downside is that it's from BAT that wants to put higher taxes on vape juices. You can rent it same as IQOS.
Overall if i would compare these devices: Vape. For price of IQOS or glo you can buy decent vape and good juice, but if you miss cigarettes IQOS is way to go. Phillip Morris knows that analog cigarettes are soon going down and comes up with their new idea for smoking, BAT wants to ban Vaping (or atleast make it so expensive that people will come back to using cigs)
I like both vaping and cigarettes, and this looks like the worst of both worlds combined wit more bad aspects on it
You have the price point of actual cigarettes with the smell, yet, looking from the video, a flavour worse than an actual cigarette combined with quite an inconvenient product to use. And, like an e-cig, it's bulky, and needs constant recharging. Why would anyone buy one I wonder.
I have one and I've stopped actual smoking with it and there are different strengths for the sticks and that changes the taste a little. Lightest ones are just yum. Also I find it's a plus having to charge for 4 min after each one, avoid chain-smoking.
The average price in my home state is about 10 bucks a pack, so this alternative is actually 50% more expensive than smoking, at least in Massachusetts
Is this guy a smoker? I wonder if he is an advocate of vaping. I have wanted to move to vaping or something non-combusting. I tried vaping, and it was something completely different from smoking. I like smoking, I just don't like the health affects. So then I tried the Iqos, and while this guy has done a great job of making it seem terrible, I honestly thought I could switch to Iqos, while vaping never had that affect on me.
Ultimately, this guy was selling vaping, so I shouldn't be surprised. I am just starting switch to Iqos, and I guess I'll learn soon enough.
But, I know it gave me the FEEL of smoking, which I like, and to some degree, the taste, which I have never gotten from vaping. So I want to approach Iqos with a more open mind. My initial experiences, however, have been positive. Now, I look forward to the science to tell us just how much this reduces carcinogenic toxins entering my body.
there have been many dry herb vapes on the market for years. just not one you stick a baby cigarette into. that looks awful & personally i would only feel comforable vaping organic tobacco (american spirit / nat sherman)
If you asked me, that's super over priced. I'm a pack a day for the last 27 yrs and presently paying around $8 on a pack of Paul malls n $6 the natives my preferred brand (clear). Plus price of the device that won't last more than a few hundred charges, over a $1.50 lighter. It's a joke. I'm gonna try vaping. Just looked at the stuff put in the e-juice and all ingredients are fda approved except tabacco flavor. I'm in for try before the crude cold turkey.
I have a friend who has this, he bought it in Italy. They were always sold out. I met a woman who had one, she let me try it, said to use it like a cigarette. She bought hers in Toronto, quit a 2 pack a day habit. These were developed to attract people who wanted to quit, but vaping wasn’t delivering. Mainly because of the taste of a cigarette wasn’t the same.
I quit of iqos. It will cause your heart rate and blood pressure really fast and high. Dont think these kind of device will safer or help you to reduce the risk. It will cause more health problems than you throught.

The bad thing is most traditional cigarettes dont even have much tabaco in them onlu like 3% the rest is some kind of paper

Here in Czech 200 sticks costs around 40 usd, wich is the same as regular cigs.
200ml for me lasts 7 to 10 days at1mg/ml. So, how does 60ml last at least a month?
