I’m using my Revenger X to charge up my batteries but I unplug it before they are fully charged, about ten minutes before it says charged, the Revenger x does good so far
What if the charger you have is just garbage and really can't get a external charger right now I have 2 18650 3000mah mxjo batteries would I be safe to charge them internally for about a week till I can get a charger that is worth usein because th charger takes about 18hrs to charge my batteries and they drain so fast if I charge in my mod they last all day and my mod is literally brand new and it is a VooPoo resin 157 gene chip bought brand new I don't want to mess up my mod
Generally it is safer to externally charge for heat and convienience… But most mods coming out on the market all have quick charge, battery balancing, and are VERY accurate… Quite a bit of wrong info in this video.
no shit, who in their right mind wouldn't use an external charger? its not like I'm going to wait around for the usb port to charge when I can just pop in a fresh pair and stick the dead ones on the charger. HOWEVER, YOU'RE WRONG an extra .1 volts won't do shit….
The charger circuits are actually very simple and not that difficult to integrate into a mod. The only disadvantage is that for fast charging they do need some external components and a higher power supply than your average 1Amp USB wall adapter. For the lack of those the built in charger will not be very fast. Hell, all modern phones have high capacity cells and chargers built in and they work fine. Battery conditioning (meaning charging at a low current for a completely empty cell) and top off cycles (the constant voltage tapering off current to end the charge) are a pretty standard built in feature of even the simplest charge controllers. Accuracy needs to be within 1% so 4.24V is fine. A very good reason to get an external charger would be the comfort of uninterrupted by having more then one cell to use. Also this supports the idea of having the replaceable battery in the first place. Other than that I'm pretty sure the built in one is good enough.
Great advice. Have you done a vid on marrying the batteries? That would be a good tip as mixing them up can cause unpredictable results. I use stickers to denote pairs.
Is it safe to charge my battery on my rx 200 without any external charger? Will it damage or shorten the battery? Just asking, thanks. Like your vids btw.
it is a great idea to have an external charger you can put 2 – 4 batteries to charge at once I have three vapes for e juice and a vaporizer for dry herb so it's much easier to charge them all in one go. the safety aspect is hogwash there are a lot of vapes where the battery is internal and you have no other option. basically, don't by cheap and you can rest easy but for me, an external charger is an essential bit of kit but try Amazonas they they are around £5.00.
the mods probably have the same charging chips as the external charger but most box mods (with 2 or more batteries) are wired in series. when you charge and discharge them the other cell will likely "fall behind" because it has less capacity than the other one. so when the batteries are empty one might be 3.2v (safe empty for liion) and the other battery can be 2v and when you charge it up the better cell can overcharge
i have an lg choco for a year and a month and i charge it in my istick pico. no harm. i think just dont overcharge it. and you'll be good
How name music is used in this video
What ohm should you charge 18650 batteries? I've been doing mine at like 2 ohms charger didn't come with directions
Really great job with your vids keep it up??

I dont like removing my battery often as i feel its more dangerous as the battery skin can get knicked or scratched.

Nitecore D4 owner here. It rocks!
I've had an intellacharger for over three years and its been working good since day one.

I’m rocking 2 20700 batteries and wondering will the charger that is charging my 18650s be okay, or do I need a special one to charge them.

I like how this ends up in my suggestions after my mods charging function craps out.

One of my buddies have charged his batteries in his vape for two years now and only recently got new ones.
I use to disagree, until my smart charger destroyed my smok majesty. Im charging all my batteries exclusively externally now.
