The mesh coils are garbage. The .5’s are vaping great. The mesh tastes burnt after a day. Idk there’s an issue with those mesh coils. I’ve got a 5 pack to and same crap. But the .5 works nice. Actually like the .5 coil.

Did he say you can upgrade the orion 40w with the plus technology through the website without even buying the plus? Even so you're still stuck with buying the pods constantly instead of just the coils which still sucks- please design an rba!
When the Orion first came out a lot of other companies copied the idea and put out their own versions of the Orion style. I can't help but wonder why no companies tried to imitate the Caliburn? Or did they and I just missed the reviews.
I have two DNA Go Orions, both of which I've updated with the new firmware and settings. All 5 of the wattage selections are operational and it works perfectly. I highly recommend these coils and taking the time to do the updating. It's not as simple as letting escribe find updates, but it's not too difficult of a process at all. Using the plus pods on a DNA Go without the firmware updating isn't a very good idea, just do the update, it's worth it!
Just to clear it up. . . The OG Lost Vape Orion DNA Go (not the Q) can be updated to the new firmware via eScribe to the same firmware as the "Plus" and can use the new Plus coils just fine. The internals are the exact same, same DNA Go chip, same RGB LED, etc. Updated my OG LV Orion DNA Go with the new firmware and it functions (new 5-step wattages) identically to my stabwood Plus version . Definitely was worth $40 for the OG device. ?
I don't understand why people wanna use removable coils over pods! why add more hassle to your life? if you wanna use coils then just go for a mod with freebase juice! better flavour and everything. the whole reason why i switched to a pod system is because i was tired of my RDA and tanks and all that jazz.. I just wanna stick a pod in there and fill it with juice and go on with my day. Honestly I believe its a waste of time and effort even if it saves me a couple of bucks i still rather have the hassle-free pods over coils.
Get the lost vape orion DNA 0.25 i repeat 0.25 pods cuz they are outstanding. Don't waste your time with the 0.5 and fill that with 25mg saltnic or whatever suits you.

I never enjoyed my Orion DNA GO, pods wouldn’t last & flavour was meh. I’d like to try these coils though.
I think the only thing you didn't mention was that they changed to a bottom air flow as well.
