hey mike, the predator looks kinda similar to the cuboid 150w (specially if you've upgraded to the cuboid's newest firmware). have you tried comparing them? which of 'em do you think performs better?
i got mine 3 days ago. the side panel opposite the firing bar rattles like fuckin crazy outta the box. its loose! and the .25 coil head shorted like 2 days after. i wanna love this device coz im honestly a wismec fanboy. i have the nc1, nc2 and the rx 2/3. those are solid devices but my predator on the other hand, im disappointed. i was waiting for this thing since the leaks. its a beast on performance but it sucks on the quality control.

the name is from the movie, the fire bar is from alien, the battery door from cuboid 150w.. the screen and the board is the same like rx300.. I will upload a video compare these when I have it in my hands.. I order it!! I like it so much!!!
Hey Mike, now that the predators are out on the market and people are getting their orders I am seeing a whole lot of comments with people having serious problems with the 510 connector breaking or the ring unscrewing with their mod, etc. I am asking since I only just received mine a few days ago should I try to return it for a refund or store credit because I definitely do not want it now that I know it is only going to tear up on me in a few days? Also what reason should I give for returning the item because if I say anything about a problem with the mod they will only want to fix or claim to fix the 510 connector and send me another one that will just tear up within a few days also..
So if you had to pick the Wismec predator or the Joyetech evic Primo 2.0 (the 228w version with the good 510 pin) which would you choose? I'm having a very difficult time choosing between these two mods. I'm guessing they probably use the exact same chip, just with different firmware. Actually, I'm pretty sure that all of the larger Joyetech and Wismec mods use the same chip since Joyetech and Wismec are the same company (also E-leaf I think). Right now I'm on a Vaporesso Tarot pro, and while I like it, it's just not quite perfect for me. the build quality is great and the user interface and feature set on the omni-board is awesome, but I don't like that it can only handle up to 22mm atty's without overhang, the smart wattage feature is more annoying than helpful, and the biggest issue of all is that you can't change the wattage in TC mode. Anyway I'm rambling so yea, let me know what you think! I highly respect your opinion on vaping related matters, so your call would definitely help me decide.
I have the predator for at least a month and recetly the 510 connector on the base pop up. Mike to you have any suggestions on how someone can fix it? I don't think is it possible with glue although cause it will interfere with the grounding and electricity won't pass through the solid superglue.?
Planning on getting this after be getting my Alien which crack recently.. idk how but it does still perform perfectly.. anyways, Mike! how's the predator 228? is it better than the smok alien? and is it way sturdy than the alien? and have you had any problems nor heard problems about the predator? really wanting to get this.
Just bought this as one site had it for only $12.72. Gotta be better than the Alien, My Alien was my favorite mod ever but there is no o-ring in the 510 connection. So, if you tank leaks it will ruin the mod. unfortunately, My baby beast was leaking with any coil head I put in, which appears to be a common problem with people I know who have the tank. Luckily I got mine to quit leaking, just have to use the RBA. Until I replace the baby beast. Cheap screws, likes to strip easy and the fill hole is tight which makes it hard with some drippers when I fill my tank.
garbage mod, tank connector and usb port rip right out after less than 2 months. takes 14 hours to charge, and gets less than 5 hours of use before the batteries die. absolute crap.

I'd be careful with this mod. My 510 broke within two weeks. When I unscrewed the tank, the 510 unscrewed with it.
Hi Mike, are you having any issues regarding the negative threads on the 510 of the predator?

coils complete garbage… Last 1 tank… Is it even possible to produce such bad coils? Went through 10 coils, none lasted more than a day. WTF?

USB adaptors that read the amps via OLED screen going into a device or in this case a mod are cheap at Radio Shack to test charging…
