For me it is best left foot front and get back foot off of brake and put it flat on the deck. In video you look like you are changing front foot. Just ride and you will get used to it. I use a better helmet. One that covers the back of my head. I think bike helmets suck. I have fallen and slammed the back of my head on the ground a few times.
Those are great riding on a nice flat paved road like your on but I've seen people going full speed and take pretty nasty nose dives when they hit a pothole here in Brooklyn ?
That's a pretty cool scooter. I was in Rome recently and there were masses of Escooters and ebikes flying around which was great. Use of privately owned escooters is banned on the roads where I live sadly. BTW gloves – If you do come a cropper at speed your hands will go out to break your fall and you could really skin them. Your assembly skills impressive as usual.
I had a similar e scooter with 60Kmh top speed and brutal acceleration when in the highest p-settings. That was a blast to ride! But the slightes obstacle and you will take a faceplant. That is because of the small tires. You will need a full face helmet. Maybe protection for elbows, hands, and knees too. At the end I have sold it and went back to e bikes.
Funny I'll be 40 next year too and people say that I don't look more than my late twenties! But she definitely doesn't look her age either, keep up the great work! And this is a wicked scooter, though I have the Mantis 10 pro version 2 coming soon it's good to see women now riding these to! This is my favorite color combination LOL but cheers and be safe ride safe we need more riders like you around our city 🙂

You're hilarious, love your reviews….
Dear Zophie, you are the most beautiful and stunning woman in the entire universe darling, and don't fall off the scooter lol, ⚘?
Must have had a sheltered life to be this scared of a simple scooter!
Nice looking scooter. Nice looking woman too. Did you get married or engaged? I noticed rings on your finger.
I could watch you assemble stuff all day, so engaging, and those shorts, dayuuum! Looked kinda frisky to ride, you did a great job.
You got the foot stance right,I’d also recommend wearing flats like vans an gloves & knee pads just in case
Try starting off with your back foot on the deck first. That way you can push against it to counteract your forward acceleration as you take off.
