had an IPV mini, and as i was using it, it tasted burnt and the screen read "check battery", next thing i know smokes coming out of the mod and the display screens gone smoky and now it wont switch on :/ . does this sigelei have any built in protection?

Eleaf Istick turns me off because you can't remove the battery, and the Cloupers…. well the melt down issues are concerning. The Sigelei mini looks like the best I've seen of these new mini 30s.
I'm new to vaping and I have this vaporizer and when ever I push down my button it says low res. Do I need to change my coils and wick? or how do I fix it?

Do you know if the threads are stainless steel? I have had some bad luck with other mods threads stripping because they were made out of brass.
