I change my batteries for new one's every six months and sooner if theres any performance issues just to be safe. Always take old ones to vape shops to be recycled. When I first started bought some VTC5A. When I first started I was lucky I came across battery moochs posts on some forum. Eventually found out VTC5A were basically the best / one of the best vaping batteries to get (maybe they have betters now)
Don't Ever get batteries from ebay or aliexpress they are all fake AF. I get my batteries from a reputable battery store.. I don't get them from vape stores for ONE simple reason. Vape stores rip you off! Listen I don't mind a 10/25% increase in price for a 5 to 6 euro battery. But where I live vape stores sell VTC5A's for 15 fucking euro. That's 200% increase. I can buy 3 batteries for the price of one if I buy at a good battery store.
Only sad part is that the store I get my batteries at has ATROCIOUS customer service. Mailed them once to ask something and the rperson replying was obviously very annoyed by my simple questions. Didn't even really answer them. And some other guy (American) on reddit when he asked them about his order that was still not sent got a reply calling him a "dumb fuck American"
Here's my 2 cents on buying batteries, only buy from reputable online sellers a good example is liionwholesale, and never buy batteries from a vape shop unless you are 100% sure they buy from a reputable wholesaler. Never buy batteries or vape products in general from places like Amazon, Wish, eBay, etc as they are fake more often than not.
I honestly don't know why people would buy off brand batteries or batteries from a sketchy seller. Even the top notch ones from a reputable seller are only a few bucks more at most, well worth knowing I'm not using a ticking time bomb.
Im using sony vtc6 but there is sort of an issue with them that one of them drain faster than the other. I dont know i should be concerned or not but when i fully charge 2 of the batteries and use them 1 of them is around %5 other one is like %20-%25

I just got fake HG2 from NYX ecigs and I am so pissed. They are cheap HE4 rewrapped into HG2 and they fit all the description about fake HG2 on the BatteryBro website. Shady distributor or shady store idk but I am so angry.

I have always used the LG brown mud batteries. Never been an issue for me.
