I know you don't get too technical in your reviews but how hard would it have been to put a piece of 22g wire in an rda to test how low it would fire.. definite pass anyways.. rx200s twice as nice and 3 times the features for half the price.
COV are shit when it comes to info on their products. I had to email them over the temp control on their Trident mods and they gave me bad information, I actually emailed them back correcting them….after the 3rd email I was finally given the correct info. It is a shame that their coils and devices do not have the specs labelled clearly for the consumers, especially when you consider the potential dangers. COV have some of the best design and functionality out there, but whoever is in charge of marketing and end product packaging is blowing it for them…they could be king if they would get their shit together. Sadly, they also blew it with this latest board (think it's going to be used in the new 80 watt version of the Trident too, I'm totally bummed), it sucks, but I think they may have been rushed due to the FDA August 8th deadline.
So i have this and the RX200s, and I have to say, while the Wismec has a more sturdy feel, more options, and higher wattage, this unit meets all of my needs and is INFINITELY more reliable
The interface feels a lot cheaper IMHO, the buttons don't have that nice tactile click the RX200s
Hey Mike! Someone on fb was selling this mod with a goon for pretty cheap and I wasn't sure but I've been needing a 3 battery mod. I watched this video and u really helped me decide. I'm really happy with my cheapo awesome deal on a great mod turns out! Thanks so much for the great review! Once again MV saves the day! ?
Little note. The rubber will peel off extremely fast, had mine for about a week now and i've lost a good 40% of the rubber. I would recommend getting the black as it's less noticeable and also make sure you close off the airflow when filling a non juice flow control RDA/RTA to reduce leaking and you should all be good.

I just pulled this out of my mailbox 20 minutes ago. Got it for $9.99 from E-cig City (Sorry guys, they're gone for now until next time). I never owned a 3-battery mod, this thing kicks butt! Thanks for this review, I would have never caught the up and down battery positions!
My eleaf Tria recently died and was looking for a triple battery replacement and came across this one. Bought on eBay and arrive today. 1st it's heavier and bigger than my eleaf ….had already trouble position the batteries, had to get a magnifying glass and torch 🙂

anybody else having issue with the coating on the the Tempest peeling off? just one day in and out of my pocket and it's starting to peel!

Have the cov tempest in black. With a smock tfv8. Really great device. Like it more then my wismic rx200.

mine cuts in and out when you hit it, like it's in temp control mode when using wattage mode. not impressed, now it just sits.

Do we really need ALL of our mods to be up-gradable? I have 20 MODS, Im sure I can live with this MOD not being up-gradable.
