A lot of battery talk under here – so here it goes – – Those LIPO cells are in series Not parallel so you can't just say its 900 times 3 for 2700 total… Most of all the manufacturers are spewing bullshit for mah . What they are not saying is that this battery setup is in series unlike most dual 18650 parallel mods. This Mah shit is marketing mayhem to confuse the customer and deceive them. I don't think this 900mah battery in series is going to out perform a dual parallel 18650 setup which actually doubles the mah because they are in parallel and not series. What the dna200 really needs to go the distance AT 200 WATTS is a triple parallel 18650 setup. Thats why the DNA200 is capped at 133 watts for dual 18650's because of the voltage – OHMS LAW NOTHING IN SERIES is going to multiply the mah, PERIOD……
Mike, sorry to bug you again but yesterday I asked your preference between the vaporshark and the vt200 but now there's this and a few others so I'll just ask which dna200 mod of all you tried would you recommend. Battery life and availability is most important and I'd like to keep it under 200. If like to order this week. Thanks in advance!
Mike your videos are awesome. Once I see full review it will decide on my next big purchase! Or the pro cons comparison of all the DNA 200's. Biggest ones that have my eye is the volcano and Hcigar. Hope to see soon!
LAVABOX DNA 200 NEVER NEVER AGAIN!!! Purchased this device from official website for $169.99. Received a used item with scratches all over the screen and a small dent on it. Contacted volcanoecigs.com and explained them the situation. Here is the response: Once you receive a prepaid label (usps first class), you must send the defective product back within 3 business days of receipt. The prepaid label will be void after 3 business days and we will be unable to process this RMA. YOU MUST SEND IN YOUR DEFECTIVE ITEM PRIOR TO A REPLACEMENT BEING SEND TO YOU (WHY I HAVE TO SUFFER FROM YOUR MISTAKE???) Once we have received and tested your defective item we will notify you with the outcome. If the item has been found to indeed be defective after testing and meets the warranty terms, you will then be sent a replacement at that time. (IF the item IF REALLY???) Once we have received and tested your defective item we will notify you of the outcome and if a replacement has been sent, a tracking number will be included. (IF A REPLACEMENT IF???) WTF I PAID $170 for the new device and they send me scratched device with a dent. So now I have to send it back via usps first class (3-5days) and wait for their decision (who knows how long a day a week a month) and after that I MIGHT get or MIGHT not get a replacement. So I have to go through all that for my own money because they fact up. What a nice way to treat their customers. I was so excited about getting this new mod but now nothing except frustration.
the battery when u charge the device does not show the charging logo is that normal!?… I don't know if my battery is charging on the screen..answers plz..
thanx for the reply Mike ;-).. there was a few issues with it as well volcano is sending me another box.. wall charger keeps getting hot I mean ?.. also battery logo doesn't have the bolt logo as its on the charger charging few issues..:-( but I like the box hopefully it will work out all well thanx..mike
I had mine for two days before I had to RMA it back to them for "Check atomizer". In there own words:
"We have received your item as of 10/29/15 and have run some tests on it to find that it actually worked just fine.Your device 510 connection wasn't soldered very well to the chipset."
@mikevapes does it automatically detect the coil and know that if its either cancel nickel or titanium wire and automatically switch it from wattage modes to temperature mode I cannot figure this out I even tried reading the manual so confused
