Lost Vape has really become such a class act!! I LOVED the looks of the Therion but this outshines them all!! The wood inlay with wood panels is gorgeous!! Love it! I just wish DNA mods were not so damn expensive!! Hey Mike, great review, just a slight correction though. Ive seen this messed up on a few reviews, the material of the little band just under where the 510 is (just above the leather), is not wood, but tortoise. Its not real tortoise, but imitation tortoise as the sale and farming of tortoise shell was made illegal some time ago since the species used became endangered. The imitation tortoise shell material is used to make many things that also used to use real tortoise like combs and glasses rims. Tortoise shell was originally used a lot in part to how easy it was to work with. You could heat it up to bend it and it could be bonded to other pieces of tortoise shell when heated as well, kind of like plastic. The part of the shell used was the scales on the underside and around the edge, both having a slightly different look.
I got my Paranormal DNA75C from VaporDNA for $144.99 (not the cheapest one online). Afer a few days of use, I noticed that the manufacturer's name, "Lost Vape" and the vent holes are missing in both carbon fiber and wood panels. I emailed VaporDNA about it and they said: Dear Customer, I have spoken with upper management in regard to your concern. Lost Vape has changed the panels. Lost Vape did not notify us. It is for style purposes. I can confirm that you do not have a clone. Your device is 100% authentic."
Would Lost Vape take out their name on their product "for style purposes," or I bought a fake Paranormal DNA75C for $144.99?
