When the original Ares came out, I stopped looking for tanks. It filled all my needs; easy coil replacement, good air flow, with the original honeycomb design, consistent vape quality, inexpensive, good build quality, and I never had a problem getting the cotton in the slots or having the cotton get in the way of the threads. They discontinued the original Ares after the Ares 2 came out. I wish I'd have bought more. Don't like the Finale at all. Grimm Green had a bad leaking problem, and his gurgled too. I still use my Vapefly Galaxies MTL RDTA. I wish more companies would make tanks like that.. MTL RDTAs.. I'd buy them.. I bought three of the Vapefly ones, back when FastTech was a thing..
Dvarw FL MTL form KHW , Kayfun X, Brunhilde MTL, Diplomat (top fill version) , ….I love how Ares (2,Finale)on paper it sounds great , but I will rather spend money and bay top fill tank for my Dvarw FL MTL because im 100% shure it will give me that flavour I need (+troath hit if I want ) ,Ares seems to be great but if RTA is not giving full flavour from liquids ( especially NET aromas , Dreamods, LaTabbaciera, Drakes….) it's is a waste of money. I'm MTL tobacco( especially NET )flavour chaser….
I ONLY use mtl rtas. Kayfun 2019. Intake mtl rta. Pandora v1. Steam crave glas mini. No thanks on this. Honestly only ever like the v1 of the ares. It was like the Digiflavor siren
I got a shit ton of rta’s and rda’s still prefer to squonk and drip, diy etc. guess I just a timex kinda guy. Still Regular user of my berserker mini’s and berserker rda’s for squonk so yeah mtl brother! P. S. Oh yeah almost all my mtl rta’s need bottom fill from berserker to steam crave or they gurgle and or leak my innokin a2 and Hellvape md rda doesn’t need it but the flavor is just ok so who needs it;) Thanks
Oh no its the trilogy rta problem again isn't it. I wonder if you raise the cotton above the walls so it's not touching if it stops the gurgle. I'd love to know if it fixes it?
Hi Mike, the reason of this Ares Finale gorgoling is because the cotton must not touch the base of the deck but must remain slightly high. For an MTL draw the best coil is 2.5 diameter, in my personal experience. Try this way of placing the cotton and you will see that the gorgoling will probably disappear. I'm an rda, rta, pod person. MTL tanks just never appealed, tried them and just not right for me.
It might be because of the combing of the cotton. Might want to try NOT combing out the wick. See if that solves the problem.
