Looks great for the intermediate or budget challenged vaper just starting to get into building, probably with pre-built or plain round wire to start with, especially if the TC is more than half-way decent. I may put one on my wish-list.
A weird device. Looks like they aimed somewhere in between and achieved just that. Went in-between and missed every point. A single 18650? Get a compact mod with all the features. Put a good proven flexible RTA on top and enjoy! Then put another one… And spend less money in the process. Their only purpose I can see is catching up with the trend of pod systems. But it is not strictly a pod, just an altered RTA. I'll pass. Thanks for the review though.
See mike i am new to pod mods. I’ve been looking at the dna go mostly and the Orion plus mostly cuz i want ss316L coils and so many use mesh. I hate mesh – ss316L gives me the best flavor. But i hate Escribe lol. I also been looking to get the acrohm Fush nano as that is an rta style pod mod but it’s not out yet.
But i been wondering why can’t i just find a pod mod that has external battery (preferred), adj. wattage (pref above 60w) and ss316L coils w/o having to use Escribe and let me build so i don’t have to buy pods/coils. And then in my email, i see this – the ratel, and so i checked it out and watching reviews and this is better then anything I’ve been looking at. This has everything i want. And it costs just as much as the lost vape devices do but it has so much more features to it that i desire that lost vape does not have.
For that price, the matching resin drip tip should be included. Just an example of trying to squeeze more money out of people. Nice concept, but definitely not worth the near 80$ price tag.
Shit I want this 1 lol will be my 1st pod like device, I know it's not a real pod but that rebuildable I want!! I will find a good MTL to try soon, I want to try a MTL device
I’m getting this one for my sister because money is tight I like the ones that I can rebuild that doesn’t have an internal battery it really saves on having to buy coils and she’s not a big fan of the tanks she want something a little more restrictive
Yeah, save your money for something else. I was all excited for this mod, then I had nothing but problems with it. CHECK ATOMIZER! The freaking bottom pin doesn't contact the bottom of the pod very well. It's shitty QC most likely. It's too bad too, I liked it (when I could get it to work). It stopped working altogether.
Also the design of the deck… There's an O-ring that blocks off the build deck from the juice holes. The way they machined the pod part is an awful design, it will shred O-rings. The one I had came apart in two pieces the first time I removed it. They should have machined that shoulder up above the juice holes and chamfered it so there are no sharp edges (let alone like 8 holes) to cut the O-ring.
Returned it, going to buy something else. Probably a Smoant Pasito.

This is nice…. I have the Smoant pasito with the RBA on it and I must say from the looks of it, this is easier to build on that the Smoant's RBA
