  1. From a medic stand point amd the one that has used the actual gas mask m50 at the end it's not what you blow out it's what you breathe in. I've smoked a cigarette a m50

  2. Suggestion just a thought breathe the vaper in to see if it takes the vaper in, out is an exhale no one gets the flu" when they exhale they get the flu" when they take IN contaminated flu" air. The gross way to look at it is if you can smell a fart your mask isn't working.

  3. Nice m50! Probably the best gas mask I have and definitely a step up from the older m40 gas masks. Just wondering tho, do your m50 filters leak activated carbon? Mine do and I can see a little carbon build up on the white self sealing disks on each filter port

  4. Amazing how people here are missing the mark w/ comments, "its not made to block air from going out." If air can seep out along the nose ridge, upper cheeks and around the side of your face…it means a virus twice as small than vapor can get in.
The FM50 are restricted from sale to civilians by the manufacturer. Only if we were all that lucky.??

  5. If you’re trying to protect others, exhaling through these won’t, if you’re trying to protect yourself, only the gas mask will, because the voice box of the mask doesn’t seal outgoing, only incoming air which has to pass through the filter, provided the mask itself has been properly cleared (blow out) & sealed (breathing in) The respirator might also, dependent on the filter type or carries an NBC rating (NUCLEAR BIOLOGICAL CHEMICAL)
