I think because of the leaking issue that why switch to rubber plug.. Trying to open the top fill sooner or later it will leak.. It happens to in my g2..
Too many ppl complaining about leaking pods, which is why they added the plug. With top fill, it would have to seal the pod itself, and when you're constantly snapping off the top to refill, it weakens the integrity of the material for the mouth piece. Hence, a weaker seal. And if you look at the top of the cap on the pods for the A2 and G2, theres little silicone gaskets on the mouth piece. That's to seal the pod, because if you dont have the mouth piece, the pod will just flow and leak.

The thing I didn't like about the top fill Caliburn pods is sometimes the mouthpiece would break or fall off and get lost. That's why I would save my old mouthpieces.
I work for a vape retail company and at first the 0.9 caliburn a2 pods were great, never leaked, always consistent and we never had any issues. Now pretty much half of the customers that use the 0.9 a2 pods come back with pods that leak like no tomorrow, the rubber seal on the inside comes loose and we have to replace a lot of them. Idk if they're sacrificing QC on the older products but they definitely went downhill fast.
useless to upgrade from a2, same specs but different design….

Also In Canada the AK2 isn't a coil system it's a throw away pod system.. Im so confused

what does the coil look like inside? do they have the new metal seals or the old black/white seals that pop off and make your juice leak like a sink
