  1. squonk pin won't work in there seeing that the hole in the centre post under the deck is too low, probably get a ml in there and then you gonna get stuck with juice being sucked back into the bottle again

  2. As of the moment I don't like the way these new RDTAS wicking and juice filling ports are. Like for filling juice it's nice but they need holes for the air to escape every RDTA I've used with that type of filling it starts leaking where the wicking holes are when I fill it up. For the wick holes problem the Merlin I think is smart they have the floating deck style so you can tuck your wicks very easy, but my favorite RDTA for wicking and filling the juice reservoir hands down would goes to the first RDTA that limitless mod co came out with. Just give that RDTA more beef O rings and I'm sold would buy it in a heart beat.

  3. when a product is solid and the design is aesthetically pleasing like the alpine not to forget functionality and something that i find gets overlooked is durability 'what kind of life span? etc as some just dont last as you would presume they would, thats my ten cents worth bro

  4. if you want to use your own drip tip just fit a goon on top the juice refill will be open but I haven't had any leaking and it just looks better

  5. Thought this one would really break the trend of gta's ive hated but sadly it wasn't even close and on top of all the let downs I had with it, I was super let down to find out the gold version i got doesn't come with any titanium screws, just regular ones ????

  6. Yeah Mike, lately rdta have been all I've been experimenting with, I'm really digging the COILART MAGE RDTA!!! One Design feature I do not like is the center fill port with the top cap plug, I believe it blocks too much vapor and too much vapor condensation collects around it, I think it's a loss in flavor. It's 2017 and I've yet to see any good squonk in mods, no double or triple battery versions out there and I believe they discontinued the LOST ART DRONE, gearbest says discontinued and they are hard to find anywhere else without serious price markups.I WANT A SQUONKER…and they told me that vaping was a cheaper alternative to smoking,BULLSHIT! LOL

  7. The cheap plastic proprietary drip tip almost made this rdta useless to me.it cheapened the entire set up and lowered my build quality rating. The District5 competition cap made it tolerable, but still restricted the draw and didn't last 24 hours. The only option which put this tank in my daily rotation was retiring the top cap from my CSMNT, pulling the top cap off of it and tossing it on here. This got rid of the top airflow which I did not use anyways, but it allowed me to use any 810 I wanted. I chose the District5 Tactf5ve style 1; massive unrestricted draw, like sucking on a tail pipe and the CSMNT top cap gap acts as an insulator keeping it cool.

  8. I'm a big fan of you Mike, keep up the reviews! I'm going to answer your question about RDTA… I'm a tricker, cloud chaser, and I'm strictly speaking from a mech vapers POV…. I only use hybrid and mechanical mods. I HATE HAAAAATE SQUANKING absoulty LOATH the ENTIRE SQUANKING concept… but I WILL NOT talk smack on anything about vaping. Its all subjective right! I am a California state certified electrician in the IBEW and I suggest anyone who uses VW devices, but is thinking going mech, use K I S S (KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID) and learn your mathematics, use your ohm readers, and do as I say, not as I do. I vape .05ohm-.03ohms and newbies don't build below .10ohm.
    V×A=W
    Volts = Flow
    Amps = Power
    Watts = Total Peak operating Power
    Check out my YouTube channel for ALL things Mechanical.

    RDTAs are absolutely undeniable the first to come to mind for tricking compitions. As well as for ALL us mech vapers. RDTAs are the PERFECT way to have your favorite RDA clouds on the go with your hybrid or series mods.

    I prefer to vape juice 85/15 juice for clouds with .5% nic shots and I build 24g Ni85 5 wrap parallels at .03ohms. I KNOW THAT is super low. But I've been vaping almost 10 years now and know what I need to vape that low safely.

    Personally I LOVE RDTAs, have the Goon 1.5 RDTA, The Apocalypse GEN 2 RDTA, many limitless Plus RDTAs, and several ALPINES. So it's all subjective, and if it keeps people off conventional cigs vape what you think is best for you! No H8 on anyone, EVEN SQUANKING I respect because I'm supporting ALL vaping!!

    Keep chucking those clouds! Peace out from SoCal to y'all out there !!

  9. Frankly this looks like a headache with many parts, levels, o-rings. I use Sense Blazer nano tanks and their coils and like them much. I also have a Psyclone Hadaly RDA and its amazing. Unlike others who say the Hadaly has to be dripped again 2-3 puffs, mine goes about 15 at least. I am looking for a simple Hadaly with a tank but i think this isnt it.
