RMA'd mine and got the updated replacement. vandy vape customer support was great and the updated frame didn't require swapping any parts. they provided the new orings as well, so i guess i swapped those over, but nothing was required for the frame. easy process too. highly recommend reaching out to them directly.
The "snug" you made on the 0.5 was enough to force to create mini cracks starting on the old. Any less force wouldn't close the connection. And the shake you made on the tank? Make it up and down instead of sideways and if that doesn't fall, we'll believe the update they made is real enough to buy one.
Gonna skip this again and wait until they use much better materials on this…yes this .5 use different materials than the OG but still i'm very skeptical about it…
Contacted VV about my cracked mod and they didn't even bother to reply to me, been about 3 months now… Threw the mod in the bin and will be staying well away from VV in the future.
Thank you Mike! Couple things…this board isn’t waterproof like the squonk and the Swell. The form factor of how it’s made makes it more difficult and expensive to do. Also, they’ve extended the warranty to 12 months, and the .5 version also has the 1 year warranty. The material was also changed to Lexan, so that should be much better for everyone. I appreciate everyone’s patience as we worked out a solution, and took on the task of getting replacements out to everyone. Thanks again dude! ?
Glad I got the replacement frame. But I was charged custom and handling fees which should not be for a warranty replacement. ? VV should declare it as replacement and that would not happen…
Loved this device when i got it for review purposes but…it isnt designed for a left handed user like me. Guess i am screwed,looked around for AIO for lefties and zilch…nada,nothing. Oh well,hard pass for me then.

Good shit, Mike. My OG Pulse AIO is almost at 10k puffs and still going strong, 0 complaints. Loving this refreshed look and new button.
Word of warning fast-tech is not supported through Vandy Vapes warranty. Sadly my V1 is falling apart but I still loved it while it lasted
