Does the version 2 leak like the version 1 did? I liked the flavor and ease of use on the v1 but it went in a draw after 2 weeks because I could not get it to stop leaking, even after tightening everything up and replacing the o-rings.

Very nice, Mike! That's a sexy tank and I think I'll get the 24mm version to sit on top of my Swag II. I wonder if the black version shows a a bit less of that etching they did on the bottom.
in South Africa tobacco products have been banned during lockdown and they included vaping, now i must be treated like a criminal in my own country, here is the kicker tho, the minister who banned vaping and tobacco has a son that owns a tobacco company which floods our market with illegal cigarettes during this time

As always, excellent review! I do disagree on one thing – although they vape similarly, the Ares II provides more of a true MTL draw. The adjustable air flow to the coil is a big change. Also, although not bad, the original Ares was a bit prone to leaking both at the air flow ring as well as the top fill area. The Ares II (mine at least) has not leaked even a little. Although very similar RTAs, I'd say even if you like the Ares, the Ares II is well worth considering.
a little late but i've found that on some of their tanks if there's liquid in the seat where the drip tip meets the tank it'll stick up. once i dried out that area it fit perfectly.
There is nothing wrong with the drip tip. You have 2 o-rings for better seal, therefore the o-rings creates 2 points of contact with the tank's bore. You need to push it in dead square in order to fit it easy or you can "lubricate" them with a drop of e-liquid in order to slide in or even twist it. I can't see anything wrong with a tight fit ?
OK, today I received my Ares2 D24. As mechanical engineer I have to say you ve done exceptional work on it. The vape production, flavour, ease of use, materials, size (24 it's more than enough), and of course the accessories are amazing, but I have a but. When you fit the coil, the position of the screws in relation with the coil wrapping pin, which still holds the coil when you fit it, it's awkward. You need to change the way you hold the coil with the pin in order to reach the screw with the screw driver. Well done ? great job, carry on!
Really like the V1 but like the changes to the V2. One note…the"smoked glass" looks great, but it's only a film on the glass and came off when cleaning. I have 2 of these tanks and it happened on both.
6 days later, I ve got a complaint for the Ares 2. The colour from the black is fading out… there is a discolouration to the innokin logo and to bottom airflow ring. I spoke with the store which I purchase it and they didn't even reply back to me.

The biggest issue with the Ares I was it was not "proper" MTL they now have the 0.8mm air flow hole and she's tight b'y. Proper ting!

There is in tank a little ammit (airflow) mtl, little wismec gnome (drip tip), little dvarw(look like), a little ares air hole.
