The idea of this button design is that the battery does not move, so there's no chance of electric arc anywhere except inside the button itself.
BTW the lava-painted Limited Edition can be found for around $85 in Russia with all possible discounts. I love it, the only con being the 18650-only.

i've never really been a fan of tube mods just because of crappy firing buttons. but these things look pretty tight.
