Hey Mike, thanks for another great review. The force that supplies the liquid via those rods is called capillary action. It has to do with narrow passages between the steel cables inside that sucks liquid and pull it up.
when you use the topcoiler with rods, it's not important to fluff out the cotton. you can cut it and put it on the rods 🙂 the artemis 2 have enough juice flow 🙂 best wishes

Great review Mike and another great products from thunderhead creations. Mike you have done rta,s rda,s how about doing a rdta with thunderhead creations that would be a good one from Mike vape creations.
@Mike Vapes, absolutely do a project with Thunderhead Creations. I love 98% of your products and I own almost everything you have done. The Clutch and dual 18650 version I have 6 of them. 4 Clutches, 2 18650’s. The intake dual is my used atty to date I own 4 of them. Best dual coil RTA from China ever. I’m sayin all this bullshit because if you build it, it will sell. I would absolutely love if you did something with either Thunderhead Creations or QP Designs they both have really good quality products. Please do something with them ??
If you are inhaling you do have a different pressure in the tank area and in the deck area. So a pressure compensation will happen between the 2 chambers, and liquid will travel up. I think if the liquid level drops it could lead to dry hits, because the pressure compensation will happen more and more with the air in the tank, less resistance. But just guessing.
Thunderhead Creations hasn't come out with a dual coil RDTA in a while. I'm pretty sure they've had success with this Artemis series since the single coil version came in the OG, 1.5, and Special Edition. I'm pretty stoked for this dual coil version, especially in that full matte black finish.
Eversince they created the Tauren Max RDTA, i started to hate them. There's a lot of airflow. They should reduce the airflow ports. It's just too much. Taurrn Max RDTA was my last purchase from them.

I have the 1 and 1.5 and use them both on Centaurus Quest BF mods. Really awesome rdta's. I love having basically 15ml in such a compact form.
I wish for an MTL or an RDL of these. More of an MTL/RDL vaper myself.
