Both the RDL & MTL 510s are a screw in system. So you could use either of them without any of the AFC pins installed, which would give you about 2.5mm or so under the coil. Then the only difference would be four air inlets on the RDL 510 compared to only two air inlets on the MTL 510. Then I guess its your choice to use the adjustment wheel or not to get maximum airflow. The only problem I see with that is the AFC inserts stick up a little bit, and with the wider hole under the coil being level with the deck, it would be more prone to condensation dripping down the pin or straight leaking if you flood the deck, which is where I believe that juice flow control would come in very handy.
