Good review Mike, but I have to rant about geekvape. They've fallen on creativity, how many times are they're going to relaunch this unit, one trick pony I guess. The Boost Plus has AS Chip functions, (YaY!! ?)but we still can't utilize the full 40ws? ??♂️ Mean while Smok's Pod Mods are almost hitting 100ws, seriously. I'm starting to feel like their stringing me along for the hell of it. I guess the Boost Ultra(made that up) will be fully unlocked. LMAO.
Mike a great review as always, your very professional in your delivery. However , during this review you didn't mention if Aegis fixed the leaking juice problem that plagued the original battery Boost. I also doubt Aegis's claim to be water proof , my Boost leaked juice downward and wreck my display and circuit's , LOL i even had juice in my covered C charge port.
Why make an 18650 battery and then cap it at 40 knowing that there's most likely an rba coming out. Knowing geepvape, they will release the same shit again, add 80w and then call it something else.
Could've been great if it goes beyond 40w and if the leaking issue of the juice pods were addressed. There was no leak in the 1st 2 months. Then is started leaking on the clip of the bottom part (where the coil plug is and air flows) and the top part. Drag X still tops in this category IMHO
So Mike, my question for you is would you recommend this being used as a salt nic device? Because that's what I'm really after, I've had bad luck with pod vapes and now have a surplus of salt nic juice lol.
I'm disappointed that it doesn't go to 80w. Atleast 60w if they are thinking about battery. I'm going to stay with my knight 80 and og boost for now. I don't think the extra capacity and 18650 is enough upgrade.
For me The aegis boost is my go to mod pod system with that said I can’t wait to get my hands on the plus version though I kinda think that since it’s a plus they should’ve upped the wattage power to at least 60w
Bought one of the original boost loved the flavor so got another one. Huge mistake these things are junk. Never had anything that leaks like these. Coils are awesome get couple weeks out of them but the leaking sucks.
I'll definitely pass this one up mine last 2 1/2 days on the lipo at 10 to 12 watts on a . 8 5 wrap coil
Been vaping for years mostly using mech mods I'm so done with removable batteries now I just use a minifit and the original boost. So convenient!
Let us know if it starts leaking in a few days or weeks like the aegis boost xd
