  1. DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!
The old geekvape coils were, in my opinion, the best sub-ohm coils on the market. Recently ordered and the box looked slightly different – and said 'New' on the right hand side at the front of the box. Wattage range has been changed from 30-90w to 60-70w.

The problem is, these coils burn out within half a day. Nothing visible on the coil, nothing clogged up in the cotton. Just a strong burnt taste that makes you feel like you're *suffocating*.

This has happened, within a day, on three coils in a row now – I won't try a fourth. I have been using supermesh coils for well over a year, have three tanks in rotation all using them. I prime my coils properly and slowly increase temp over a couple of hours. I vape below 50w. This is not user error… I have enough experience here to know what I'm doing.

GeekVape have changed the (at least one of) best coils on the market and completely ruined it.

I looked up amazon reviews on geekvape coils here in UK.
    Here's some quotes:

~Lucky if they last 24 hours but great if you want to pack in vaping as they burn your lungs shouldn't be on the market!!!

~Went through the whole box in just over one week. The 0.2ohm coil that came with my Aegis max/Zeus kit lasted me for a month and I've been vaping my same all day vape juice all the time, same wattage on the mod. I thought that I would pay a bit more to buy them from Amazon and not a seller, hasn't made any difference, they are still rubbish. Wow!

~Awful, everyone tastes harsh and burnt out even after priming properly, won't be buying again

    ~ WORSE THAN TERRIBLE

  2. Geekvape – it’s not a Aegis

Also Geekvape – But it has the same form and is tri-proof just like the Aegis.

Shut up Geekvape, it’s a damn Aegis…lol….Agreed Mike, should have been 21700.

  3. The fact that it is a 18650 instead of a 21700 device is a dealbreaker for me and so is this type of battery-door. I have the Legend 1 & Legend 2 and while the Legend 1 sits nice and flush on the table the Legend 2 (with basically the same door as the Version 1) is a bit wobbly as well- obviously due to how they've made the silicone coating on the new version- if one side is only a tiny little bit off of being horizontal (not even visible for the eye) it wobbles…very annoying

  4. Just the switch and the looks thats all.. same as the aegis solo 1st version.. come on geekvape, make a 21700 unless you release the aegis max version 2.

  5. Just got a legend 2, since i tend to destroy mods by looking at them, i hope this one lasts a bit longer. really like it apart from the overhang with a 25mm. I'm only buying usb-C mods so this would qualify, but since it'll have the same overhang + the bad finish on the battery door, i'll wait and hope for a geekvape (fanboy) 21700 usb-c 25mm version ??

  6. Ordered one, and used it all day when it arrived. I agree it felt weak even at 90w, but still useable and I liked the features. My battery door fits perfectly flush, but it is really tight. Went to change the battery that night, and after putting the new one it, it never turned on again. Vendor gave me a full refund, but still quite disappointed.
