The pulse 80/90 watt squonk device does that. Hate it. Especially when I’m re wicking. Sure it’s easy to just re adjust the wattage but it’s unnecessary. Let me decide the wattage all around.
As an advanced user now I hate that feature of it recommending your wattage but as a beginner it helped me to understand everything a little better. So I see it being useful but you should be able to turn that feature off imo.

I agree with your 'prediction' comment. For safety I guess wattage should reset to a low level – or not at all – but not some wild guess. $85 is pretty steep too and it's not up on Aliexpress yet, so maybe it's just a pitch at Americans with more money than sense 😉

I've got a vaporesso polar and it has the whole smart wattage but I'm glad it doesn't override my settings and also it can be turned off. Manufacturers need to give the customer the choice
Hey Mike, are the doors reversible? With the magnets being on the inside of them and the shiny finish on the inside maybe they were designed to be used both ways so you can either have a marble look or a solid look. You'd have to put them on the opposite side of the mod, I could be way off but that would be cool.

Put that color scheme and panels on the iJoy Shogun and you would have one sick looking mod! I'm OK with mods having predictive wattage (don't use it myself) as long as it can be switched off in the menu. – Great review thanks Mike ?
Predicting wattage is actually really helpful for someone noob like me… but everytime i change batteries? Thats a con.. why not change it when i put a new atty like drag and gene chip does? Btw Thanks Mike.. Happy new year
I got the white one and both my doors were solid. No rattle. Idig the idea of predicting the watts for up and coming vapers. I get asked alot about "where do I need to set my wattage for this coil?" I hope if anything they have a way to turn it off or something

I’ve recently acquired a pulse x kit that I’ve been thoroughly enjoying EXCEPT for the same issue-wattage/voltage recommendation, l can’t stand that

If you lock the up and down buttons “ lock the wattage”.You think it will still reset the wattage the same way ???
Perhaps with the wattage prediction, they should prompt a "new coil, same coil" kind of thing so it doesn't bother you too often

A bit generic & doesn't stand out from other 2 battery kits. Will probably end up in the bargain bucket.

Unless u build ur coil the wattage thing is fine with me sir. It’s not plastic It’s something printed etched panel glass.
Literally took my first puffs of this vape while watching this video and the coil died on the third hit. FML
