I buy Squonk mods both Mechanical & Regulated for when I Squonk, personally I don't see the point of it as I wouldn't want to use my Vindicator that way but that's just my opinion. Also MickVapes is right ventilation holes is not going to help if a battery vents, in fact you probably will not even notice it's venting until it goes bang. If your somewhere quiet you might notice a hissing sound, best advice throw it somewhere safe away from people.
I can give points for the attempt at innovation but it's a pass for me. For me mech tubes are about dripping and only dripping. If I wanna squonk I'll grab a SQ or a dual battery regulated like the Basium, Rage, Topside, Pulse, or the new Wismec Luxotic 200w. But again, I get that it's an accessory.
I like the innovation. I think from an originality standpoint it's pretty friggin' cool. Is it for me? No. But I'm broke as shit on disability.
Thing of it is, tube mech, IMO, are all about feel. Especially for a former cigar smoker, they feel like a robusto in your hand. Popping it into a contraption kind'a looses that.
I think it's got a market anyway cause the guy who'll drop $200+ on a tube won't be too phased by $65 to use it as a squonker, even just as a novelty. For the masses? No. For the guy with the extra loot to spend that just wants something different? Yeah, hell yeah!
It's niche, sure, but I think it's got a niche. And like you said, it's only got a couple tweeks to turn that same basic design into its own self-contained squonker.
Still think you should go with my other name on the Aquetas, D ;- ). Highlights it's coolest feature and it's catchy.
I think it would've been smarter if it was flipped. Leave the rda and bottle where they are but make the 510 connection plate at the top of the mod instead of at the bottom. That way you can still hit the fire button like you do with a regular mech.
I think it is a nice innovative idea and if people don´t wanna buy it, they don´t have to. In my opinion the recurve squonk mod would be perfect if it was a mech squonker so people can use their dual coil RDA setups. Thats why I don´t buy it but I still don´t say it is useless or stupid. Just not for my purpose. Innovation is something that I miss in the vape scene so don´t be so insulting it is a nice idea. You don´t have to buy it.
I don’t care what anybody says, a mech on this will not hit the same as the mech by itself. I know that’s not what the claim is but the idea is using a mech you already like as a squonk but it’s just not gonna be the same and I think serious mech users would be disappointed in the experience.

I don't understand the "money grab" comments. Isn't making money the purpose of commerce? Is commerce not the buying and selling of products and services? Or in the case of Wall Street, often just the concept of what a company or corporate entity will make? Jesus, I mean even the Beatles were a publicly traded comedity at one point that they weren't even the majority stockholders of.
So especially on a "niche" market product, how much of a "money grab" can it really be? Even if it were broad market, good for them. And mean, these guys are just tryin'a put roof over head and food on table.

I could see putting a smok Stik or a nunchaku or something like that on this thing. Maybe pinky fire or pinky squonk and palm fire? Assuming the button isn't trapped by the thug nation logo. Either way seems odd. Couple other companies have made something similar, but you never see them any where.
I am literally the only person in my town that uses mech mods rdas. I can't even buy wire around here. I love the idea and Mike is right. I think an unregulated mod with safety for like 35 40 bucks with that design would be successful

Nah. Nothing better compare to my ATHENA. Also i'm using Aleader BF squonk on my DJV MECHA. More convinient and cheaper than this.
