You didn't mention one of the most important/unusual features of this device.
What you called the "adapter" (Thunderhead call it the X -Chip) is a mosfet that gives you the option of having safety features like low voltage cuttoff, reverse polarity protection etc. You can choose to use it with an 18650, or you can run the mod as a true mech in 18650, 20700 or 21700 mode.
Can use this tank on l200

I like the form factor, but theyre branding is shocking !!!! Why, why , that gold badge on everything!!!

Great review as always Mike. Totally agree about power issue. My first build was 0.28 and I thought it was a poor vape. Then I did a 0.14 build – it was great ! At 0.14 you do need a 21700 rated to min 30 amps continuous discharge but that does give you around 126 watts – it’s great. Molicell do a P45 4500mah and rated to 35 amps 👍👍
Great job Mike 👍🏻 Im more interested in getting just the rba! I can't do boro mechs. I like to adjust my watts also. I build higher & that ramp up for a .5 would be awful.

Thanks Mike for the review! I thought this was an actual mech, but with the mosfet being optional and in the 18650 adapter? I don’t like the shield aesthetically but for mtl I like mechs, just not for dl, my biggest gripe is the shield and how it’s a gold accent not even matching the battery tube!
