I still use the smoke/smock Nfix. I have 4 of them & my red one is over 6mo old. I get 2-3wks out of the .8 round wire pod. 1-2wks out of the .8 mesh pod.
the only issue with the top filling method on pods is that sometimes it gets a tight vacuum or its put on so tight that you cant get it off so you have to use a knife for leverage to get it off
