  1. I recently bought "Datt White Stuff" cotton, which seems better than cotton bacon prime, which I used before. Other than that, I always use the scottish roll method and after getting the cutton in and trimming it, I poke my tweezer lightly though the middle of the cotton on both sides as well a thinning it out a bit like you mentioned. Seems to work very well for me in terms of flavour.

  2. On my smok 22 I open a coil by letting it soak for at least 1 hour. Take one vape and let it rest for 3 minutes. Repeat it for about an hour. Slowly patiently breaking in the coil… I have ruined way too many chain vaping fresh ones.

  3. Are dry hits the real cause of vapers tongue?
It would make sense, that's why people tend to loose taste of thier favorite e juice first, as those would be the specific taste buds that get burned.
Then the vaper might change flavour for a bit, but then the next dry hit causes that next flavor to disappear and so on until you can't taste your food.

  4. Thanks brother this vid was so useful my first ever rda is the dropdead im thoroughly enjoying learning about even different ways to install pre coils quick question however im getting beautiful flavors from it only think I might be dripping a bit to much hence why mine is leaking slightly is that a problem for first timers ? 🙂

  5. i vape a lot and need to build a new coil each day. I notice how the wire looks fine where the cotton has been touching it. So I tried wrapping some cotton over the coil as well as through it, but the heat wasn't high enough with too litle vapor production. Maybe I could improve on this in the future by using flax paper instead. Anyone attempted and succeeded with something like this?

  6. Thank you! I wasn't a subscriber before, but after using sub ohm tanks exclusively since 2013 or 14, I just recently got my first RDA ever. The guy at the shop uninstalled the squonk pin because I asked him to, but then went ahead and wicked it too. I supersaturated the cotton and started at 45W with shorter, 2 second hits. The third or 4th hit was a dry hit. I was baffled because Ive never had a dry hit from a saturated coil before – but again, I've only used subohm tanks until now. So I looked for a vid that might explain, found yours, and you did! I suspect there's a tad too much cotton, as you described. Most videos I have seen of the Profile show people thinning/combing out more cotton than I think my guy did. Only bad part is…I dont have any other cotton yet, so the RDA will be out of commission until I can get more cotton.
